We had taken a walk to Terrazza del Gianicolo. From this place you have a beautiful view of the skyline of Rome. When we walked back to the hotel we had the sun on our back and the sunset was busy. The sunset cannot be seen though the effect in the form of the long shadows. We thought this was a funny sight .

Stop 2 of my week-long “past vacation shots never posted” tour is Rome. What a dream destination for photographers! The colosseum, ancient ruins, beautiful cathedrals, 7-hill vistas. But strangely enough I appreciate the composition of this alley image as much as any of my other Rome photos. I was going to title it “Facile Rider” but thought it might give away I’m not fluent in Italian.
