„My first band shooting. My thanks to Emily, Chris, Lui and Seb for the trust placed in me and for letting off steam freely. Completely uncomplicated, patient, with a lot of fun - and following my directing instructions - the four contributed significantly to the success of the photos.
All photos taken were handed over to DISTREZZED for free disposal.

„Founded in 2018, the Doom / Stoner rock band "DISTREZZED", consisting of the four members Chris (vocals/guitar), Lui (guitar), Seb (bass) and Emily (drums), combines powerful, dark, hard riffs with melancholic sounds to create a unique sound.
In March 2021, they released their first studio album "Pain of Depression", produced by Michelle Darkness, singer of the band „end of green“.
The "greener" influence cannot be ignored in the sound of DISTREZZED.
DISTREZZED impress with their meaningful lyrics, most of which come from singer Chris's own pen.“

En quelques riffs de guitare bien tranchants, on comprend tout de suite ce qu’il se passe. Un truc à la AC/DC ou façon Airbourne et tous ces gangs qui ont le don d’accélérer le blues et de pousser leurs amplis au-delà des limites sonores raisonnables.
Soyons clair : si Rhino Bucket n’a pas inventé l’eau chaude, le groupe américain sait comment la porter à ébullition. Certes, Georg Dolivo a le même timbre vocal que feu Bon Scott et tout le répertoire de ces Californiens sonne tellement AC/DC que c’est à s’y méprendre. Sauf qu’il s’agit juste de rock’n’roll joué à l’ancienne, avec vigueur et rugosité, dans l’esprit du haut voltage pur et simple. Avec Rhino Bucket, on en oublie tous ses soucis et les incitations à consommer moins d’électricité. Le son du monde d’avant, quoi.
In a few sharp guitar riffs, we immediately understand what is happening. Something like AC/DC or Airbourne style and all those gangs that have the ability to accelerate the blues and push their amps beyond reasonable sound limits.
Let’s be clear: if Rhino Bucket didn’t invent hot water, the American group knows how to bring it to a boil. Of course, Georg Dolivo has the same vocal tone as the late Bon Scott and the entire repertoire of these Californians sounds so AC/DC that it’s hard to believe. Except that it’s just rock'n'roll played the old way, with vigor and roughness, in the spirit of pure and simple high voltage. With Rhino Bucket, you forget all your worries and the incentives to consume less electricity. The sound of the world before that.

Il a joué et partagé la scène avec Hubert Sumlin, Levon Helm, B.B. King, Norah Jones, John Hammond, Etta James et Bettye La Vette, pour ne citer que ceux-là.
Né à New York et élevé dans le Massachussets à Sommerville, Chris Bergson revient à Manhattan en 1995. Il joue alors pour les chanteurs de jazz Annie Ross, Dena DeRose, Sasha Dobson et Norah Jones Et sort son premier album Blues For Some Friends of Mine en 1997 et Wait for Spring en 2000, tous deux chez Juniper Records.
En 2002 Chris Bergson est désigné Ambassadeur de Jazz des Etats Unis par le John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts et réalise une tournée en Afrique avec son trio. Evoluant jusqu'à embrasser le blues au plus près, tout en y ajoutant des influences pop, il réitère avec Blues (2003), Another Day (2005) et sa percée artistique largement applaudie Fall Changes (2007).
En 2008, il est récompensé par MOJO pour l'Album #1 de Blues, qui le définit désormais en tant que compositeur convainquant doué d'une vision urbaine aiguisée. Enregistré au Studio Levon Helm à Woodstock, Fall Changes mène Bergson à être personnellement invité pour se produire sur scène au Midnight Rambles du fameux batteur, première scène d'une longue série vers d'autres festivals aux États-Unis et par la suite d'une tournée en Europe.
Chris Bergson a été intronisé au Hall of Fame du Blues new yorkais au club de B.B. King en février 2015.

Has anyone ever built this in the brick?? I need a 6w-ish VW for our display and need to know if its customizable at all. Need to short bus -rod- and rust it. :)
From my first roll of film in the Diana F+.
I used provia 100 film. and had it cross-processed. This is me playing the drums in Rockband while taking a long exposure pinhole shot.

i bought the beatles rockband game for xbox 360 during christmas vacay to london and recorded my performances on md. borrowed some artwork and voilla. so basically i recently discovered the beatles. this game will introduce them to a whole new generation. which rocks... like the band... ok i'm shutting up now.
