Finally a good day of weather was ahead, so we drove just past the hamlet of Exshaw to do a favourite hike / scramble, Gap Peak. It's a lovely route, starting with a good trail through beautiful woods, then a fun route skirting magnificent rockbands, culminating in a long, narrow, yet enjoyable ridge walk to an airy summit with stunning views.

Considéré comme le meilleur guitariste rock d’Irlande, Pat Mc Manus est aussi un excellent violoniste, ce qui lui valut le titre de « Meilleur violoniste Irlandais » à l’âge de 14 ans. Il utilise d’ailleurs quelques fois son archet sur sa guitare électrique pour en tirer des effets proprement hallucinants.
Guitariste de MAMA’BOYS, groupe de hard-rock formé avec ses frères qui connaît un grand succès international en Amérique du Nord, en Europe et en Asie en coopérant avec Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Rush, Thin Lizzy, Sting et bien d’autres. Il Forme ensuite le groupe Celtus, mêlant le rock et la musique traditionnelle. En 2007, sa passion pour le rock et le blues reprend le dessus et il forme le Pat McManus Band, un véritable power trio dans lequel il peut enfin étaler son immense talent et justifier le titre de « Professeur » attribué par ses pairs musiciens en reconnaissance de son exceptionnelle maitrise de la guitare.
