Paese medievale sulle rive del fiume Bistrika, alle pendici delle Alpi di Kamnik, è posto a pochi chilometri a nord di Lubiana. Pur essendo divenuta una cittadina industriale, conserva un pregevole centro storico.
Medieval village on the banks of the river Bistrika at the foot of the Kamnik Alps, is located a few kilometers north of Ljubljana. Despite having become an industrial town, has a fine old town.
L'Aln 663 1171 è da poco transitata dalla vecchia fermata di Rive Vercellese, come Reg 4763 diretto a Casale Monferrato.
