There are several trail where you can ride horses in Rocky Mountain National Park. Here we are passed by horse riders returning from Fern Lake where the trail crosses the Big Thompson River at The Pool.

Before I say anything else, yes, that is a purebred wolf.

TUMBLR

The story had as its subject an “attractive, well-bred young lady”, a village girl of the country being deceived into giving a wolf she encountered the information he needed to find her grandmother’s house successfully and eat the old woman while at the same time avoiding being noticed by woodcutters working in the nearby forest. Then he proceeded to lay a trap for the Red Riding Hood. The latter ends up being asked to climb into the bed before being eaten by the wolf, where the story ends. The wolf emerges the victor of the encounter and there is no happy ending.

Riding stables can be so elegant. This Horse riding centre was one such place. Once I saw2 this lane-way into the riding centre I just had to take the shot. I just love how the many leading lines draw you eyes.

I was tired of motorized vehicles, I used my bike and the weather was pretty good. I went to my parent’s house; it took me about almost 55min or 1 hour. I passed through a lot of huge warehouses and factories. In the roads you have to be very careful, there where a lot of big trucks with a flag saying “overload size” passing by the same road I have to ride, so I have to see first if there were trucks passing by before I ride my bike, there were no sidewalks. I usually have to see backwards because sometimes this people wouldn’t notice that there is someone else in the same rode and even less someone riding a bike.

Enjoy your weekend!

This is how Daisy gets around. Sitting comfortably with front paws on the steering wheel of the bike. She has a great view and for other people it is also the greatest sight, to see a dog going by this way, ears flapping in the wind, big smile on face. She has no trouble keeping her balance, even when they cycle down some steps!

Riding my XT-500 one summer

Yes, I want to see it. For a number of reasons.

The path between the beach and Marine Parade is busy with walkers and cyclists. You can see the back of the Sound Shell Colonnade at the right of shot. The beach stretches for kilometers in all directions with one end going round the bluff hill and port to the Ahuriri area and then across the bridges to Westshore beach and further north. The Southern part can lead one past the fertiliser works and down to Clive. www.hawkesbaynz.com/see-and-do/great-outdoors/the-cycling...

"Remember, go straight to Grandma's house," her mother cautioned. "Don't dawdle along the way and please don't talk to strangers! The woods are dangerous."

do me a favor and press L! :)

I finally did a Little Red Riding Hood shoot!! :D I had been excited about it for the longest of times and finally found a friend to model for me (she did amazing, btw). this is the one shot that turned out the best, I think :) we had so many people watching, haha. it was a rainy day yesterday and for some reason hundreds of people were passing the woods we were in by bike, some of them stopped and took pictures of us taking pictures. I didn't really mind, though. I've been out with my camera almost every day lately, now that I have finally some time. oddly enough, I've stepped into stinging nettle, have been bitten by mosquitos and red ants and have basically bruises over my feet and arms, haha. I've been immensely inspired by fairy tales lately and have some more shoots planned, that should be fun.

let me know what you all think. I'm always up for some productive feedback as you might know. have a great weekend, everyone!! :)

September 2014 - Looking back at 2014 and showing some photos from each month that did not make the cut back than.

As noted, the Long-tailed duck is quite the surfer... Not the greatest shots but gives one an idea of what their movements are and how the water just wraps around their bodies...
