Fehér-Körös régi vasúti híd
1906. december 12. - 1944. október 6.
"A gyulai kisvasúton a forgalom 1906. december 12-én indult meg. A 760 milliméter nyomtávú pálya Gyula MÁV-állomásától Gyulavárin át Simonyifalváig vezetett, 41,6 kilométer összhosszban, hét települést és több uradalmat összekapcsolva. A jelentős teherforgalmat gőzvontatással, a személyszállítást benzin-elektromos motorkocsikkal, illetve egy motormozdonnyal és utána kapcsolt személykocsikkal bonyolították le. A trianoni békeszerződés után a magyar oldalon maradt szakaszon egy ideig lóvasúti forgalmat szerveztek.
A trianoni szerződés megkötése előtt a vasút mentén több mint negyedszáz, ma Romániához tartozó határmenti településsel ápolt intenzív kapcsolatot Gyula.
A kisvasút emlékhelyét Simonyifalván 2009. augusztus 1.-én avatták fel. (Satu Nou - Románia)
A kisvasút nyomát jelenleg a Fehér Körösön látható elhagyott híd jelzi."

RFA Diligence is a forward repair ship of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary. Launched in 1981 as a support ship for North Sea oil rigs, she was chartered by the British government to support naval activities during the 1982 Falklands War and was later bought outright as a fleet maintenance vessel. She gave assistance to the damaged USS Tripoli and Princeton in the 1991 Gulf War, and to Sri Lanka after the 2005 tsunami. She typically has deployments of 5-8 years in support of the Trafalgar-class submarine on duty east of Suez, with a secondary role as a mothership for British and US minesweepers in the Persian Gulf.

Tied up at its home port Falmouth is Royal Fleet Auxiliary A135 RFA Argus, 1st April 2016. The Italian-built 28,000 ton RFA Argus was launched in 1981 as the container ship MV Contender Bezant. The ship was requisitioned in 1982 for service in the Falklands War and purchased outright in 1984 for use as an Aviation Training Ship, replacing RFA Engadine. Following an extensive rebuild RFA Argus entered service in 1988. In 1991, during the Gulf War, Argus was fitted with an extensive and fully functional hospital to assume the additional role of Primary Casualty Receiving Ship. In 2009 the Primary Casualty Receiving role became the main role of the ship. As the ship is armed with two Oerlikon 20 mm canons, the Geneva Convention prevents Argus from being officially classified as a hospital ship.
