A travel-battered RF 231 rests outside Dartford garage between trips on route 423. Friday 30th July 2976. 3H-10.
We were invited to an event at Windsor Safari Park in April 1990 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Green Line. The assorted vehicles assembled at Heston Services beofre processing to Windsor.
This was taken for me while I was in the backseat "working". It is a little out of focus and irreplaceable. We were in Alaska in January 1988.

RF 495s claim to fame, in addition to being the chosen representative for the LT museum collection (only for 8 years after withdrawal), was having the LT bullseye picked out in white. The vehicle is captured shortly after departure from Kingston garage on a 218 working. One month later 27 years of RF operation at Kingston garage came to an end. Thursday 1st March 1979. 4V-16.
Two of the boards are now populated!
And I found a mistake ('fixed' on the top board only)
It appears I somehow managed to wire the SO to the MO and the SI to the MI. bad bad bad bad! That's what I get for putting in such long hours without a break.
UPDATE: The boards WORK! The only mistake I can find is the one listed above. Amazing! Now I just need some antennas...
