The Golden Ratio informs a lot of my art and photographic composition. The Golden Ratio also informs the design of the golden revolver on all the swimsuits and lingerie, as well as the 45surf logo! Not so long ago, I came up with the Golden Ratio Principle which describes why The Golden Ratio is so beautiful.
The Golden Number Ratio Principle: Dr. E’s Golden Ratio Principle: The golden ratio exalts beauty because the number is a characteristic of the mathematically and physically most efficient manners of growth and distribution, on both evolutionary and purely physical levels. The golden ratio ensures that the proportions and structure of that which came before provide the proportions and structure of that which comes after. Robust, ordered growth is naturally associated with health and beauty, and thus we evolved to perceive the golden ratio harmonies as inherently beautiful, as we saw and felt their presence in all vital growth and life—in the salient features and proportions of humans and nature alike, from the distribution of our facial features and bones to the arrangements of petals, leaves, and sunflowers seeds. As ratios between Fibonacci Numbers offer the closest whole-number approximations to the golden ratio, and as seeds, cells, leaves, bones, and other physical entities appear in whole numbers, the Fibonacci Numbers oft appear in nature’s elements as “growth’s numbers.” From the dawn of time, humanity sought to salute their gods in art and temples exalting the same proportion by which all their vital sustenance and they themselves had been created—the golden ratio.

The great thing about the beach is that it presents an entirely different universe from season to season, from day to day, from hour to hour, from second to second, with the ever changing wind, tides, clouds, and sun. A split second with tumbling surf and a sinking sun can make a vast different, resulting in entirely different photographs.

A rack of vintage Smith & Wesson target revolvers belonging to the Norman Police pistol team. They have heavy bull or slab barrels and are perfectly timed with light trigger pulls. I'd hate to venture a guess as to how many rounds have been fired through them. Some of these revolvers are older than the officers shooting them. Some things were built to last!

Tall, fin, fit, and tan with long, silky long blond hair and pretty blue eyes! A goddess!
Was testing the Sony HVL-F60M External Flash on the Sony A7r. You can see it going off in some of the photos (check the exif if in doubt)--worked great, but it overheated a bit sooner than my Nikon flash on the D800E. But it's all good!

Nikon D800E Photos of Pretty Blonde Swimsuit Bikini Model Goddess with a black 45surf surfboard! A classic goddess! A classic California Surf Goddess--the archetypal blond hair beach babe with pretty blue eyes!
Here is some epic video I shot of the gorgeous goddess at the same time as the stills with the Sony Alpha A7R camera with the 50 mm F/1.8 prime lens for nex6 e mount cameras bracketed to my Nikon D800E (cool bokeh!):
The blue-eyed goddess was modeling the gold 45 revolver gold'n'virtue bikini with the famous golden gun/colt 45 revolver from my favorite film--Sergio Leone's and Clint Eastwood's "Fistful of Dollars!"
Combine the shallow-depth-of-field with Sony NEX-6's latest face-tracking auto focus, and you can see how the moving video keeps the model's pretty blue eyes in focus, while blurring the background! The Sony Alpha NEX 6 has much better bokeh than the cameras I have been using! :)
She was tall, thin, fit, toned, defined, and beautiful!

Many have requested a carbine version of the Gila revolver, and I’ve been more than happy to oblige.
Gila is a striker-fired, break open, 8 round revolver with integrated top rail and flash hider. It’s fully ambidextrous, with the striker in the center top of the revolver, and the opening latch and cross-bolt safety on both sides. The cylinder is made of a magnesium alloy, making it as light as aluminum, but as strong as titanium alloys, which have been used for the body. Since the cylinder is so light, it’s viable to use them as magazines.
It’s available in two barrel lengths: 10” and 20”. The ten inch model revolver, the Gila C-10, is made of anodized titanium, and comes standard with dark brown furniture.
The twenty inch model is designed to be a combination of classic and modern, old and new. With its modern design elements combined with the wooden furniture, we think it’s safe to say we succeeded at that.

Very nice to see one of the RAF's less well-remembered types in the air, even though it is thanks to an organisation based in Austria!
This Bristol Sycamore was actually built in 1957 for the West German Navy and in 2013 took to the air once more showing as XG545 in Royal Air Force livery. The type was finally retired from RAF service in 1972.
The helicopter, designed under the leadership of Austrian-born Raoul Hafner, is one of several aircraft kept at Hangar-7, a museum founded by Dietrich Mateschitz, the co-owner of the Red Bull drinks brand.

This is a Series I, Manhattan Pocket Revolver, caliber .31. These were produced between 1858 and January 30, 1860. This one is serial number 871. Manhattan started producing these as soon as Colt's patent became public domain.
