I had a photograph of my brothers and I at my one brother's high school graduation. I crushed it and ripped it and scanned it back into the computer. I ended up with a very pixellated, grainy representation, and a lot of creases from the folding. Using the lasso tool I was able to slide the torn-off piece up against the other piece and sew the parts together using the healing tool and the clone stamp. Then, I went around the picture ironing out the creases with the healing brush. To remove some of the unsightly marks, I used the healing brush and clone stamp tool to fine tune some areas, specifically the faces and my brother's gown, and also the sky behind us.
