Friday night LockedIn Magazine and My8five0’s Tim Crutchfield was in Destin FL @ Club L.A. for Departure – The Journey Tribute Band’s first of 2 sold out nights. Right off the bat they hit the stage sounding strong and powerful, their talent and showing that 13 years together has made them into one of the most respected Journey Tribute bands out there. Any fan of the classic 80’s Journey was not left wanting as the musicianship and vocals were just as amazing at the start of the show as it was at the final song of the night. The fans showered the band with applause and cheers (not to mention more than a few rounds of Jägermeister) throughout the show. With the interaction from the crowd to the pure talent on the stage if you closed your eyes you would have been hard pressed to tell whether or not you were at an actual Journey show. In closing, my ears are still ringing from the show and I don’t know if it was more from the band or the cheers and screaming from the audience so if you ever get a chance to see Departure, you will not be disappointed in the least!

they were driving around in that huge bus in east london using megaphones to shout "WE LOVE YOU AND LONDON" at people. quite random, but quite nice.
