Renée Vivien is dead in 1909 but she has a mailbox - that's the first time I see this in a cemeterey and it is a rich idea because, some people leave poems, letters, pictures to famous artists as Serge Gainsbourg, Marcel Proust, etc..........
With a mailbox, all these precious testimonies of love/admiration/tenderness are safe and dry.

Perhaps you think I have not well translated this poem but, after having read the resumé of her life, I think that she considered that life was not a gift nor a present - she died at 32 years old.
She was born half english half american. A very beautiful lady.
Vivien fut la première femme à oser affirmer son amour exclusif pour les femmes, ses désirs et ses fantasmes.
Vivien was the first woman daring to say she was loving women only - her desires and her fantasies.
My digital reproduction of the famous painting by Rene Magritte, oil on canvas, painted in 1937 with a title “La reproduction interdice” ( not to be reproduced ) now owned by Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam.
Rene is sending us a message in his use of this title for the painting, the man in the picture wants to remain anonymous, he does not want his likeness to be revealed, this is the way Rene has chosen to represent this desire and rendered the reflection in the mirror incorrectly with two back views

I joined some friends for some rock climbing at Wye Creek, which is about 20 minutes from Queenstown. We hiked up the mountain for about 45 minutes before the rock climbing began. I didn't do any of that... I mostly just hiked around and took photos. Here's one I took of my friend Rene out on the edge of this cliff... he's always doing risky things like that. He doesn't even care about the photo op... he just likes doing crazy stuff.
I met Rene while walking around the Redondo Beach Pier collecting people for World Portrait Days. Rene was fishing, but had not had any luck yet. I think he'd been there all day! He said Sundays were always popular... there might have been 200 fisherman all along the pier... never seen anything quite like it before.
