This is all that's left of some old sea defenses recently uncovered by the rough seas.

Despite the heavy rains and constant gales of the winter... these seed heads from last summer remained upright and unbowed throughout.

Of my trip to Bathurst and Autumn...all in a distant past

BNSF 1457, a BN SD60M, leads M GALGAL through Colona, IL and passed one of few BN-era station signs still left in the area.

When the sun rose, we went out to this huge lake, over which the remnants of fog swirled. Here was our last shooting location.

Habakkuk 2:8 “Because you plundered many nations, all of their remnants will plunder you. Human blood has been shed, and violence has been done to the land, to the city, and to all who live in it.”

I was trying to shoot a cabin in the woods. I didn’t think the contrasts of the film would pick it up, and I was right.

Remnants of the Rio Grande lead this MRODV through Pinecliffe well after the UP merger. This was quite the consist but all the good stuff was leading. I sure do miss the Rio Grande.

The logs are the remnants of an old corral at Ya Ha Tinda Ranch. The sunburst and clouds are just gravy....

Remnants of an old and now forgotten enclosure, only some posts and a gate remain standing, the forest reclaiming it's own again.

...of a Storm. And a great place to perch

I received an email from Flickr updating me on the 'update feed' issue and that they are currently monitoring a 'fix' that has been implemented.

They did, however, blame the issue on me uploading an image as private and then changing it to 'everyone can view'.

I never did this. Not once. My upload screen opens automatically with 'everyone can view' selected and I never change that setting either before or after uploading.

I quote their email:

"Our engineers rolled out a fix today that was causing photos that were uploaded as private, then changed to public to not appear in the feed as normal. We found this may have been what’s causing most members to see lower views than normal."

All of my uploads, and re-uploads when the feed fails, are set to public so that everyone can view. Anyone else had this issue but have not changed their settings because I feel this is a little bit of gaslighting here. Passing the blame on to me for the issue where I didn't do anything at all.

Anyone else notice that Flickr is painfully slow now too?

Take care all.
