This is a very difficult time for Patrick, last night it was time for a long walk around one of the roughest shorelines of my pet lake.
I miss the company of Vivi-Mari, but the quiet - broken only by the honking of geese and yipping of coyotes - gives me time to clear my mind.
Sometimes, however, I stay out far longer than I wish. The sunset continues to morph and when I see those shades of magenta forming, leaving is not an option until the light show has run its course...

This image is my first image to gain interest from a major magazine. I was contacted by a woman from "Ski Magazine" in regards to this photo a couple of months ago, and today I recieved a copy of the magazine with my photo in it.
I didn't get the check yet, but heh, it's sort of nice considering I took this shot about a month after getting my first DSLR. I just stuck it on Bulb and went with the longest exposure I could without a cable release (30 seconds)...

This is a part of a flower and made this in the room (before the window) using the light from outside.

Lovely to see and hear this Mk1 Transbus Enviro 300 sounded great really nice engine note.
A shame the type never materialised in large numbers with operators, Citybus did trail a demonstrator back in 2003 and again in 2008 (the Mk2) but never took any.
