“Take time daily to reflect on how much you have. It may not be all that you want but remember someone somewhere is dreaming to have what you have.”

Take time to stop today
Take time to stop a while
Reflect on how life changes
Then take the time to smile
Know that as the days go by
These things that challenge you
Will one day just be memories
Of times you have gone through
Look back now on yesterday
And all you have achieved
Recognise the strengths you’ve gained
The blessings you’ve received
One day in the future
You will think about today
You’ll see just how these challenges
Have helped you on your way

Have a great Wednesday.....and thanks for all your visits!!!!!
It's been a busy couple of weeks at work, so I thought I'd take the chance to spend a Saturday morning with Steve at Fort Funston. We both haven't been to this location for several years so it was a good opportunity to see how our perspectives of this location have changed over time.
All comments, critiques and feedback both positive and negative welcome.
Wild Drake Wood Duck on calm pond water with reflection. Perhaps in self admiration but more likely skimming the water for food source. Always fun watching them during their visit before they migrate back south for the season.
Image taken at the Christian Science Plaza in Boston, MA. The grounds along side the building are adorned by gardens, a fountain and a stunning 670 foot long reflecting pool.
The reflecting pool, designed by the firm of renowned architect I.M. Pei, is so large that the curvature of the Earth had to be taken into account to keep water from spilling over the sides.
The fountain design includes a cast-iron gate with 2-inch opening that allows 180 water jets to shoot directly out of the ground.
Thank you for your comments.

A simple rose reflecting in memory of a very close friend who passed suddenly
A rose can say goodbye when a friend is laid to rest, No matter what there is to say, a rose can say it best. RIP Cliff
Half an hour south of Dublin is this lake in the middle of nowhere. Luckily enough it stopped raining for two minutes so that I could take the image, hehe. See how I processed this picture at www.letsimage.com/2015/06/reflected.html

This is one of the most unique AND creepy windows I have ever seen. It is in the Capela dos Ossos, in Evora, Portugal. The Chapel was built as an extension to the Convent of Sao Francisco in the first half of the 17th Century. The Chapel is an invitation to reflect on the transitory nature of the human condition. An inscription over the entrance to the Chapel translated to English reads, "We bones here, for yours await."
Happy(?) Window Wednesday!

While taking this photo, it made me reflect on how short life is, and how important it is to give it all you've got, before you can't any longer. I bet this guy would have a few wise words to say.
