Maria's treat to me for my 40th birthday, was a helicopter flight over the Peak District. It was only short (6 minutes), but so much fun.
It was a bit windy, but an absolutely beautiful day with blue skies, broken cloud and great views.
We headed off early to grab a coffee on the way; arrived and hung around watching flights before getting our turn. We took giggly helicopter selfies, and then had the flight. It was so much fun.
