In my case more like time to catch up.
Just had another lovely few weeks up north and still haven't gone through all the barnie and Farne Island pics.

After yesterdays slightly damp visit to Dunstanburgh castle Mel and I decided that with the promise of a better forecast we would again return to the same location. I had been very interested in getting a shot of the castle reflected in the now flooded field to the northwest as this is not a typical view of Dunstanburgh and who knows how long this situation will last.
These two shots by Mel give some idea of the change in the field from pasture to lake.
This shot by Mel gives a wider view of the new lakes location to the left of the castle.
The 33-story First National Center, built in 1931, is reflected in the south tower of the modern Leadership Square in Downtown Oklahoma City.
I was out yesterday looking for something interesting to shoot. I happened to find this gate sticking out into the water with a perfect reflection, so the lines appear to converge on each other. The added bonus was the sun setting in the background.
I saw a strong reflection in the nearby water. I used some postprocessing to enhance this..
Watch it as large as possible!

I was looking for a place thats for off any city lights and therefore decided to visit the "Feldsee" thats underneath the Feldberg, which is the highest mountain of the Black Forest.

New York City (NYC) viewed from Jersey City, NJ. It was a great night for shooting as the Hudson was perfectly calm. Venus star trail is also visible just above the city. This was towards the end of a long photo shoot overnight and ended with high tide coming in and me not noticing that fact until too late. All was well though except for a bit of a soaking.

More London Riverside, London
The Tower of London and fountains at City Hall reflected in the glass walled building of PwC a.k.a. Batman building.
Never managed to get this shot before, either no rain (bizarrely), too many people, no people... Lucky tonight though!
This is the third of three B&W with respect to my latests posts. It was taken in Kamloops, B.C. and on the Thompson River. The reflections were amazing and gone in the blink of an eye. This is where a river should be, but only puddles show. However, regarding photography, being in the right spot made all the difference.
One of the spans of the railway viaduct over the Waulkmill Glen Reservoir in the Dams to Darnley Country Park.
I decided to develop this one in b&w as well... it started bc i thought it would look nice framed and one thing lead to another....
