For this one, I included "one of those white plastic chairs" which is today's theme for the group We're Here.
This one had to be in color.

I've always been drawn to classic American iconography. Warhol's work has both confounded and fascinated me.

Haight Street in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco is credited with being the birthplace of the hippies and the "Summer of Love" in 1967. This year, 2017, marks the 50th anniversary of that event.
This is most likely the best picture I took over the course of this trip - most certainly my favorite! Very rare moment when Anton was actually sitting still for a few moments and I could take this shot. Unfortunately we only had time to visit first out of 5 Cinque Terre villages - Riomaggiore.
We wanted to take a Boat Tour that goes through the whole Cinque Terre coast, but we missed the last one, so we had to drive there by car, which was an experience of its own, but as we found out later - the road there doesn't come even close to roads of Amalfi coast.
Riomaggiore, Cinque Terre, Italy
We spent last weekend down the coast and I took the red stilettos too seeing as its time they were back!
I was photographing them on the path along the beach when I was photo bombed!
I love the way he looks so intrigued with the shoes . . . do you think he wants a pair or two too?
You can see all of my Red Stiletto collection here: The Red Stilettos.
Another for my series! Check out my Album titled "Waiting for his return" to see more.

It's been a while since I last posted to Cliche Saturday. I kind of miss it :)
Happy weekend, and HCS!
This is really my nightmare. As a kid we used to skate on a frozen river near my house. It did not freeze sufficiently every winter but when it do it created a skating rink almost a mile long! My fear was always falling through the ice and not being able to find the whole through which I fell.

I was on vacation in London standing in the underground waiting fir the tube. All of a sudden this lady with the red shoes stands in front of me. I just saw the image forming even before the train approached. No tripod or monopod is allowed in the tube so everything has to be handheld.
I barely had the time to compose and shoot.
No Photoshop to alter the colors , except cropping and minor spot removal.

Pareidolia
Psychic process consisting in the fantastic elaboration of incomplete real perceptions, not explainable by feelings or associative processes, which leads to illusory images with a material clarity (e.g., the illusion that one has, looking at the clouds, of seeing mountains covered with snow, battles, etc.) ...

"Don't cry over spilled milk." This is a common idiom in the U.S. I wonder if a comparable one is used elsewhere in the world?
It certainly is a sentiment that I can use in my life.

Just like Dorothy and Toto, following the path out to the wonderful world of nature. Tap my heels 3 times with my lovely red sandals 👠
With finding my home to be what is within the broad widths of nature's garden. 🌳

...that feeling when you are done.
Everyone has their limits. Everyone reaches that point where they've had enough. Simply done. Fortunately when I get low, the feeling doesn't last. A new day usually brings a needed "reset".

I had fun playing with this mirror, getting the angle for the reflection just right. Another for my "At my feet" series.
