This is the first upload of the the spooky tree since I finished my series of 100 last year. Not sure where to file this, am afraid if I start another Set on flickr I'll end up shooting another 100....

Demolition at an abandoned aluminum smelter. This was taken on a day that we had a lot of smoke from the west coast wildfires.
Photographed with a Leica IIf using a Leitz Summaron 3.5cm f/3.5 lens. The film is Kodak Max 400 redscale, developed by the Darkroom in San Clemente, CA.
Redscaled 35mm shot in a Brownie 620, which shoots 6x9. The scans are awful, the negs look so much better than this.
Sat down and rolled a few redscale rolls of Kodak Ultramax 400 tonight after a redscale thread cropped up on The FPP. Really excited to shoot some over the weekend. Woot!

I'm finally getting redscale results I wanted, getting more yellows and browns than reds. This is Fujicolor Superia X-Tra 800, 'redscaled' and rated at ISO 25. It's from a batch of one-time use underwater cameras I got from eBay just to extract the film and experiment with, and the film expired on April 2016, but it shoots fine. Besides being happy with the colours, straight from the scanner, I'm happily surprised by the relatively fine grain in most shots. I was also delighted that the negatives came out super flat, which made scanning a lot easier and I'm pretty sure it helped with sharpness too.
