So let me redefine you
And you can see the tide move
Just like tears in the eyes do
And when you're feeling alone
Oh, baby, I'll be right here
Between the sea and silence
So breathe easy my dear
You can find sunshine in the rain
I will come running when you call my name
Even a broken heart can beat again
Forget about the one who caused you pain
I swear I'll love you in a different way
Taking a break at stunningly beautiful Mousehole
Sometimes it’s easy to get carried away with our so-called accomplishments. We spend our lifetimes collecting achievements, earning praise and recognition, and seeking approval – so much so that we lose sight of what is truly meaningful.
If being peaceful and loving are your primary goals, then why not redefine your most meaningful accomplishments as being those that support and measure qualities such as kindness and happiness?
Rather than being consumed exclusively with external accomplishments, try putting more emphasis on what’s really important. When you redefine what it means to achieve a meaningful accomplishment, it helps you to stay on your path.

A stunning purple water lily with a yellow center displayed gracefully in a pond, its beauty and elegance undiminished by a partially damaged petal. Photographed earlier this afternoon at the Des Moines Botanical Garden in Des Moines, Iowa.

I have photographed several places around the globe. In Kerala, there's something special about that green...Did you feel the same ?
"Wrentits form tight monogamous pair bonds, which are normally lifelong. Both sexes defend the territory throughout the year with distinctive songs that have been aptly called "the voice of the chaparral." The male habitually shares in incubation and is normally in vocal contact at all times with the female, and the pair is even known to roost together, forming contiguous "feather-balls," and to mutually preen. The young commonly remain in family flocks for at least 30 days after fledging and, on occasion, use their natal territory for breeding.
With few exceptions, most of our current knowledge on the behavior, life history, breeding ecology, and demography of the Wrentit has come from two studies, both in the San Francisco Bay region of California. Most information on life-history originated from Mary M. Erickson, under the guidance of Professor Joseph Grinnell, in an intensive 4-year study in a chaparral canyon in Berkeley, California (Erickson 1938). Her insightful and highly detailed study (summarized in a 332-page monograph), followed, year-round, the life history of 21 territorial pairs and individuals. "

This handsome male Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus), was seen scanning the vicinity late in the evening. He later stood up and rejoined the rest of the coalition.
Cheetahs normally sit in a vantage point to view the surrounding area for any prey which they are quick to chase down.
This lovely male Cheetah, one of the five from the famous Tano Bora coalition, was captured during a Photography Safari on a late evening game drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya.
Sometimes good things come out of it...sometimes nothing. It all depends which way you look at it...
Concise Oxford Dictionary, 1964 edition.
I might add, this was my late father’s and is older than me. But only just!
I’m intrigued by his handwritten notes inside the cover which include a rendition of the Greek alphabet.
Incidentally, the word “pixel” does not appear in this edition!

The original photo was of a sea plane in Alaska. A small plane with pontoons is the way many travel to and from coastal towns and cities in the region. We must have been near the Canadian border, or at least its registration on the side of the plane makes me think that.

Beautiful pristine reflections from Jenny Lake in Grand Tetons National Park.!
One of my personal favorite snaps that reminds me of the fact that one can strike gold in the not so golden hours of the day.
Beautiful prints:
It’s a rough and rocky trail that leads to such a beautiful place… the hike up is a little steep to begin with through what seems more trough than trail. You have to hoist yourself over larger rocks through a tunnel of rhododendron for a good way, but then the trail opens up to a large rock shelf… and to this view of aptly named Rough Ridge and Grandfather Mountain beyond.
This is a very popular overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can find it at Milepost 302.8, in North Carolina. It’s an access for the Tanawha Trail that originates at Beacon Heights and ends at Price Lake. To me, it also provides one of the better views of the Linn Cove Viaduct, which can be seen in the distance on the left side of Grandfather. While all you may notice is a bridge, the viaduct is no less than an engineering marvel… its span connects two ends of the Blue Ridge Parkway with minimal impact on the mountain.
Autumn foliage is a huge draw here throughout North Carolina, and no less in this spot… like many others who find this the perfect place to set up a tripod, I know of ways to beat the crowd. One way is to be prepared for any kind of weather, such as you see here… rough, which seems fitting. This is also toward sunset… you can see light pouring through clouds in the distance, which was as good as sunset was going to be on this evening. Yet, I don’t really see how it could have been better, as this light made the colors pop... in this place, rough is no doubt redefined.
I was already planning to go to London on the 18th when I saw the advert for the Paradox Museum in Knightsbridge which was opening on the 17th. Change of plan, got tickets for the museum and went to check it out. The adverts invite you to 'step into a world where nothing makes sense yet everything feels real'. It completely met the brief and was great for fun photography.
With the school holidays starting this week I guess taking photos will be a bit more challenging.

I find the Book of Revelation a book of mystery: I don't understand a lot of it. It's a book of majesty: (it shows) Jesus in all His glory and His majesty: and it's a book of misery because it shows me the collapse of world systems; it shows the final judgment that's going to come on the world, and it shows the anger of God that's going to be poured out before long. - Leonard Ravenhill
The Belt is a culturally redefined alley in the heart of downtown Detroit. Named for its physical orientation in a former downtown garment district, The Belt is located between Broadway and Library Street and links Gratiot and Grand River. The project was conceptualized and curated by Library Street Collective.

A stained glass entryway leads to the chapel, the centerpiece of which is a solid marble altar placed in the center of a circular marble platform. A metal sculpture by Harry Bertoia reflects light from the only window in the chapel, a beautiful domed skylight. The sculpture appears as a cascading waterfall of light that is constantly adjusting, moving, and redefining the interior of the chapel. The Chapel also features a 1300 pound bell cast at MIT in the Metals Processing Laboratory and a 768-pipe organ designed by Walter Holtkamp.
Once inside, the visitor is transported to a completely unexpected interior space that is unknown from the exterior façade. The interior is inundated with a high level of detail and atmospheric qualities that are enhanced by filtered natural light.
My other images from the MIT Chapel:
some of you may think I make a finished artwork everyday..
ofcourse I dont, I always work on multiple photomontages, songs, videos and animations at the same time
some take a long time to finish, some I never finish and sometimes it really does only take a day
so almost everyday I finish something and thats why, almost everyday, I can show you something new :)
but...
and...
and also...
so bye for now ;)
One of the breathtaking sunrises I have ever witnessed. The heavenly light and the mesmerizing lake mist rising as the sunlight kisses the lake.
Although I would have preferred shooting this with my Canon 6D, I am impressed by the picture quality from my Sony NEX. This was one shot handheld.
