Le record maximale à @paris à été largement battu on relève 42,6 degrés à 16h30 - source - @meteofrance
Le record datait du 28 juillet 1947 ou la température avait atteint 40.4 degrés -
12/31 October Photo a Day and just sneaked in, in time. Always a fallback shot are the records and decks but they come in handy every year! Had to add a different processing to what I've done in years gone by for a different feel.

Drops of record cleaner fluid on a 45-rpm record. The record is on a record-cleaning machine consisting of a turntable driven at slow speed, a spindle with a threaded clamping knob to hold the record snugly in place, and a built-in vacuum to suck up the fluid and debris.
The fluid is applied with a squirt bottle, a fine-haired brush is used to distribute the fluid and scrub the record for ten revolutions of the record in reverse, then forward, then the record is vacuumed clean and dry.
Largest hibiscus I have seen grown in our area.....I will call it a record. My wife on the left and her neighbor holding the flowers.
Woke up to a record 14" of snow this morning. It was a wet and heavy snow and no fun to shovel. They were telling people to stay home unless you had 4 wheel drive and don't drive at all outside the city limits. A lot of cars in the ditches around here. Good day to stay home and cyber shop!!

Medium size white headed gull with dark mantle
Several small bits of white apparent in black wingtips (folded wings )
Long primary projections
Bright eye and yellow legs
Strong black band on bill..with some red especially tip
Flushed w other gulls by BAEA ..circled... went West then South out into Strait
Seemed to be decending towards water as out of sight and going westward again
