For the Reading Buses Open Day in June 2019, around 30 buses were moved from the depot to an adjoining public car park to create space for the annual charity event. I found this young boy reading under this tree on the drive home from work the other day. He was so relaxed and content... Luckily, my camera and zoom lens were by my side and there was a driveway across the street I could pull into to get a shot. I felt like a stalker, but I don't think he noticed.
This image speaks volumes about the importance of reading and starting at a young age. Unfortunately, I didn't value reading as a child and to this day, I'm still not a reader. Sure, I can read, I just don't take time to enjoy books and because of this, my writing suffers as well.
I'd love to begin reading...do you have any books you'd like to recommend?

Max reading late at night in his flat. These were my favorite times of my recent trip to Europe. Staying up late, good conversation, good wine, good Obstwasser...
