I LOVE rocks, have collected them all my life, and many times, friends who travel bring back rocks for me! These are mixes from all over the world. I have them on top of the soil in some of my large flower pots. That way, I see them every time I water! And yes, I have to take the rocks OFF when I move plants in! I am pretty sure they add 5 lbs to the pots! :)
I've never considered myself the most observant person. In fact, I must have walked by this same bike rack in the village thousands of times without a second thought. It’s funny how something so mundane can suddenly reveal its potential. Today, I finally noticed how the light hits it just right, contrasting the black rails against white walls and the way the rack recedes when you view it from a low angle. It struck me that this was a photograph waiting to be taken. This moment made me realize how often we overlook the beauty in everyday things. Being observant isn’t just about seeing with your eyes but also about experiencing with your mind and heart. Sometimes, all it takes is a slight shift in perspective to appreciate the hidden gems in our daily surroundings. So, here’s to paying a bit more attention and discovering the unnoticed wonders that have always been right in front of us.

Let's fall in love in love and get high at the Louvre
Talk through the night and sleep in 'til noon
Let's scratch our names on the church walls and bells
Empty our pockets on all-black Chanel
I read in between the lines
Up above I'm in the sky
I
Don't really think about you
You aren't really on my mind
Thinking about 888
Thinking about galaxies
Lost inside the ether...

Episode XXXIV
Hi Folks,
while we were all listening to Cousin PADDY’s interesting life in Peru and treating our taste buds with a bucket of honey, we heard a terrible screaming outside in our Wild Garden. Oh no, not little MAGNUS again !!! I ran outside as fast as I could, where this yelling was so loud that my eardrums were almost perforated. Our little Master of Disaster had fallen into the wild stream and was fighting against the heavy swirls. Babybears can swim, but MAGNUS had not enough power to win the fight against the swirls. I jumped into the ice cold wild water and tried to get hold of the little baby bear. Finally I managed to get him out of the water and pressed my paws against his little chest to get the water out which he had swallowed. And soon MAGNUS was okay again, but still in a state of shock like a deer in headlights. Although we bears can shake all the water out of our fluffy fur, we both were still a bit wet. So it was best to hang MAGNUS on the washing line to dry and I joined him to make sure he would not escape again. One disaster a day is really enough, especially on a day like this when SHE is coming home …….

Csikszentmihalyi (1991) describes engaged reading as a state of total absorption and completely focused motivation. It is a single-minded immersion and represents perhaps the ultimate in harnessing the emotions in the service of performing and learning.

Secret #3: I've kept a journal since I was thirteen years old. Every year I buy a new journal and I like having a place to put down my thoughts. Writing things down has always helped me relieve stress. I kind of like it the old-fashioned way where I can write things down on paper and open up the journals years later. Some of them are still at my parents' home and I hope they don't go reading them!
I hate to post and run but I must today. Deadline calls...catch up with you later... =)
MW3 Zombies idea..I know they have a new Spec-ops, but this would be very cool, even though it won't happen
