In the early morning on 8th October 2016, snow had already fallen on the peak of Mount Zanoaga (1,346 metres and to the top right), as Resita 764-421 (Works No. 1126 built in 1954) rounded the curve and headed up the Vaser Valley with a mixed train on a crisp and cold morning at Valea Rea (Bad Valley) on the 760mm C.F.F.

My travels around the UK by car for three weeks with my son. June/July 2019 Wales.
Day eight ..Aberystwyth where we are stay nearby for the night.
Aberystwyth is an ancient market town, administrative centre, community, and holiday resort in Ceredigion, Wales. It is located near the confluence of the Ystwyth and the Afon Rheidol.
Historically part of Cardiganshire, since the late 19th century, Aberystwyth has also been a major Welsh educational centre, with the establishment of a university college there in 1872.
Aberystwyth has a pier and a seafront which stretches from Constitution Hill, at the north end of the Promenade, to the mouth of the harbour at the south, taking in two separate beach stretches divided by the castle.
There is evidence that during the Mesolithic Age the area of Tan-y-Bwlch at the foot of Pen Dinas (Penparcau) was used as a flint knapping floor for hunter-gatherers making weapons from flint that was deposited as the ice retreated.

In 2015, I took benefit of All Saints' Day falling on a monday to take a tree days week-end and travel to Bruges in Belgium. I liked this place so much and the weather was perfect, so I decided I would return to Belgium at the same period in 2016 if the weather forecast happened to be good as well. And it was.
So I returned to Belgium, I chose to visit Antwerp and Ghent, and to have a little stop at Liège as well when traveling back. I already had been in Antwerp and Ghent some years before, but I was not addicted to photography at that time. I loved the MAS and the area around it in Antwerp, but I realy think that a vast part of the city needs refurbishment. Ghent was magnificent, specially at blue hour and night time, although the view on some of the most beautiful buildings in the old town was ruined by construction works... Anyways, I hope this shot illustrates why I loved the place.

We could not pass up the beautiful sunset while getting shots of the horses (in previous image), in Franklin County.
Thank you Lenabem-Anna for the nice texture!
