The Detroit Belle Isle Ice Tree on 1/24/2010, shot with Nikon D700 w/17-35 3.8 on Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod with a Manfrotto 488 RCO ballhead.
Damage caused when an RCO (remote control operated) job - yes, an unmanned locomotive run by somebody on the ground with a control box - pulled out and rammed into another train in the yard. Despite the damage and loss of life that RCO jobs have called (not to mention the elimination of jobs), railroad carriers will not get rid of them, insisting that they will be able to make them efficient and cost-effective.
