In 2004 domineerden in Maschen nog de locs uit de serie 151, 155 en 185. Hoe de tijden zich veranderd hebben....
Op 4 september 2004 stond ik op de bekende brug en maakte een foto van een zee aan rode locs. Alhoewel, op de foto zijn ook nog twee Deense DSB 3100 (serie 152) locs te zien in de karateristieke kleurstelling.
Wie die Zeiten sich geändert haben! Am 4. September 2004 war ich kurz in Maschen und fotografierte von der Straßenbrücke die abgestellten Loks welche hauptsächlich noch die Baureihen 151, 155 und 185 waren.
Übrigens, es sind nicht nur rote Loks - ganz hinten haben sich noch zwei Dänische Maschinen der Baureihe 3100 (DB 152) versteckt...
Way back in 2004 I made a brief stop in Maschen on my way home and was able to catch this glimpse of a plethora of class 151, 155 and 185 engines standing around idly.
Nowadays, this view will obviously be completely different.
By the way, it is not all red engines. In the back, two Danish class 3100 engines (German class 152) can be discovered...

Sie Szenerie hat sich heute stark verändert. Ein Zaun verhindert ein solches Bild und auch die 212 hatte sich damals nur hierher "verirrt".

This vehicle is one of a batch of 7 in the process of being amalgamated into the Go North East fleet, for exclusive use over the summer on Special Events and contracts (such as the Sunderland Tall Ships Park & Ride services).
Beyond summer, it is expected that this vehicles and the others in its batch will be retained to operate Miscellaneous Works Nexus contracts from September 2018.
It has been allocated fleet number 6940 at Go North East. It was new to Go-Ahead London General in June 2002 as fleet number PVL275, and was later purchased by Finglands in April 2009 where it was allocated fleet number 1804. It was acquired by East Yorkshire Motor Services in March 2014 as fleet number 595, after First Greater Manchester took over the operations of Finglands Coachways in February 2014.
As this vehicle had not been put through annual PSV test in time to transfer north as expected for the Tall Ships event last week, EYMS 790 (BP15 OLC), allocated temporary fleet number 9093 in Go North East's fleet, was loaned to Riverside Depot for the week in lieu. Following the transfer of 6940 (PJ02 RBF) north this morning, 9093 (BP15 OLC) returned to EYMS this afternoon.
