I still can't get to grips with the colour noise in 'RAW Power' ... but otherwise it could be all right 😇

Mit dem Farbrauschen in 'RAW Power' komm' ich noch nicht klar ... aber sonst wird's schon 😇

Second image of Crashing Waves, this one in color and cropped as a panorama.

We had 40 mph winds out of the north yesterday, pushing huge Lake Michigan waves directly into the side of the concrete pier. The plumes of the crashing waves were 30 to 40 feet high!

A very impressive sight for sure, but spending two hours capturing the scene froze me solid :)

I'm still testing my way into Affinity Photo v2, still a long way from my routines with Ps or darktable.

A full-frame, eye-level shot of a lion moving purposefully through the tall, dry grass of the Etosha Pan. The low, warm light of the setting sun highlights her muscular form and focused expression as she hunts, capturing the raw power and instinct of Africa's apex predator in its natural habitat.

A close-up, eye-level portrait of a young lion with its head tilted back and mouth wide open in a playful or tired yawn. The warm, soft light of the setting sun bathes the lions´ face in a golden glow, highlighting its youthful features and capturing a rare, intimate moment of a future king in its natural African habitat.

he never touched the sky — yet somehow, his shadow did. launched into an abstract burst of limbs and light, this is the purest moment of becoming. somewhere between gravity and rebellion, he disappeared into form, and reemerged as movement.

I ended up photographing Riot Fest and the other photographer took Iggy Pop but I shot a little from the side as crowdsurfers fell into the photopit rammed into me. Anyways, this montage of photos from a distance still shows Iggy's personality in his body I hope. He has a very expressive sense of body language in my opinion.

Oh, and I also crossed one of my favorite bands off my bands to photograph before I die list...Jesus and Mary Chain!

This photo is taken from a bridge in Chicago, I took the photo and thought nothing of it. I looked at the photo when I got home and wondered why I didn't take more photos from this bridge.

I work across the street from a college campus and love to shoot there because people are tolerant of eccentric behavior and street photography is definitely considered eccentric in my home town. University of Nebraska campus
