La conception et la gestion de l’exercice PHALANX RAM sont l’œuvre du Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians), du 1er Groupe brigade mécanisé du Canada. Cet exercice porte sur les opérations d’évacuation de non combattants. Exécuté par le 3e Bataillon, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, l’exercice se déroule du 22 avril au 2 mai 2014 dans la ville et la municipalité de Provost, y compris Cadogan, Metiskow et Czar.

WSSU and Food Lion Open a Campus Food Pantry
Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) in partnership with Food Lion Feeds opened the doors of its on-campus food pantry on Feb. 18. The WSSU Rams Helping Hands Pantry Ram Food Pantry demonstrates the university’s commitment to both battling the national trend of food insecurity among college students and shaping socially conscious leaders.
The pantry, which is made possible through support from Food Lion Feeds, is part of a national trend where universities partner with grocers to provide food for students who may need additional assistance during the academic school year. A recent report by Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity, found that approximately 10 percent of food bank clients are college students. Nationally, more than 100 campus food pantries exist, with more than a dozen in North Carolina.
"We are appreciative of Food lion for this partnership," said Dr. Elwood Robinson, WSSU Chancellor. “Food Lion’s support allows students who may be experiencing financial challenges to focus on their education free of hunger."
Food Lion Feeds donated food and associates volunteered to stock WSSU’s new pantry. The company supports more than 30 food banks in its service area, four campus pantries and donated more than 84 million meals in 2015 to help those who are hungry. This marks the third campus pantry opening in celebration of Food Lion's partnership with the CIAA. Last year, Food Lion opened pantries at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C., and Livingstone College in Salisbury, N.C.
Food Lion is honored to partner with Winston-Salem State University to open this pantry," said Kathryn Sowers, Food Lion director of operations for the Winston-Salem area. "We believe no one should have to choose between dinner and receiving an education. Some college students are worried about their next meal will come from, and we want to help them focus on learning instead. The installation of the WSSU Food Pantry is yet another initiative the university is providing to support the success of all of its students.
The new Winston-Salem Rams Helping Hands Food Pantry is expected to serve about 20 students per week, helping eliminate the choices students have to make when they are hungry.

Did a little digital tweaking in PhotoShop Elements (PSE)...This actually helps me relax! Fixed the door alignment & trim, added driving lights, cleaned up the front bumper & some rust spots, enlarged the driver's side door window & stretched the side windows a little.

A photo of my wheels for the day! A 2016 RAM 1500 with about 16,500 miles. I rented this from the previously photo'ed Sahara Ave E. Enterprise location. It's seen here parked on Nevada Way at the Lake Mead overlook stalls.
This was a very nice truck to drive. Good handling and a comfortable seat.

This beautiful event is dedicated to Sri Ram on his appearance day. Together with Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda and devotees from around the world, we celebrated Sri Ram's Birthday with a Yagna and Abhishekam outside on the front lawn. The bhajans were plentiful, energetic, and echoed down the valley on this lovely Spring day.
