This female wigeon was flying at Commonwealth Lake in the rain. Hard to differentiate between the splash of the take-off and the rain.
We've had so much rain lately, which is the usual weather for this time of year. It is winter, after all....

My rose 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' has graced our garden with another bloom before winter sets in. Photographed this morning in rain and heavily processed in PicMonkey Pro and Topaz Studio. I'm still not sure about the outcome ...

We call this RDF (rain drizzle fog) and in Newfoundland those letters are synonymous with spring. I fight it.... Stay inside... Refuse to take photos of it.... Complain about it endlessly.... But yet here it is for what feels likes months.... So eventually I give up and pretend the RDF is pretty and inspiring.
This week I'm embracing my most hated season and posting springs RDF.
Yeah, I know, I'm just a walking, talking tourism commercial and little ray of sunshine today!
