The Petrovac abandoned monument, completed in 1982, stands on Petrova Gora (Croatia) as a tribute to the antifascist resistance, but has been neglected and vandalized since the 1990s, despite its historical significance.

I left the background unembellished so the eye has no choice but to move from void to presence. Shot (or rendered) in monochrome to emphasize contrast, texture, and isolation.
