Had a quick play tonight with my wireless flash. I need to either use a second flash camera right or a reflector. Quite happy with the outcome considering I was firing remotely and guessing where to sit!
Strobist: Single Sigma 500DG Super approx. 45 degrees camera left on 1/16 with Stofen diffuser.
Quick face up for Dougie, very dark and raining here but I don't want him sitting round blank! More to do on his eyebrows and lashes when there is better weather.

A speedy little Bento for Jay. Frozen pork bun, packed next to frozen veggy dumplings, and frozen green beans with quickly made rice balls, and the last of the vegan chocolate cake i was recipe testing. Not the most colorful or creative bento ever, but it did take less than ten minutes to assemble!

This is a great picture I got of the American flag outside our school. I used the auto adjustments to make the image clearer and then used the Quick Masking Tool to make one side of the image farther away from the sun darker to give it a something to stand out with.

Heat 1-2 Tb red curry spice in a dry pot. Add:
1 can chicken broth
2 medium potatoes, diced
1 onion, diced
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
Simmer potato in broth, saute onion, add to the pot
Add:
2 cups diced cooked chicken
1 can water chestnuts
1 can bamboo shoots
1 large can mushrooms
Bring to a simmer.
Add:
1 can coconut milk and turn off the heat.
Serve over rice
