Last night I was watching tv, and a commercial for Ashley Furniture came on. Half paying attention, I heard “Griswold Giveaway” which made me curious to listen. Then it said there was a meet and greet with Randy Quaid tomorrow. And it was at the local Ashely furniture right in my area. Now, I’m not one of those people who would ever pay to get someone’s autograph, or go to a comic or horror con and wait in lines to pay to meet someone. I always found that to be kinda sad for all parties included. But since this was free, and local, and just so….bizarre (I’m still trying to find the connection here haha), I thought I should stop by. Natalie took some photos of me with the RV, then we went inside. The line was wayyyy too long. I wasn’t about to stay. So we walked up front by the ropes, sat on a comfy bed, and then waited for “Cousin Eddie” to make his entrance. Then we left. I don’t know what they paid him, but it just seemed a little sad, appearing at a furniture store. It was like that scene in Galaxy Quest where the washed up actors appear at a car dealership. Major “Spinal Tap” vibes. Anyway…such a random thing to happen today haha. I did however get spotted by a follower or “fan” of mine in line. My level Z celebrity status sometimes surprises me.

Quaid e Azam’s Birth Anniversary Celebrations
Last night I was watching tv, and a commercial for Ashley Furniture came on. Half paying attention, I heard “Griswold Giveaway” which made me curious to listen.
