I wish I knew what these were, they appear vary alien like to me, because I am not here very often (ever). What is the purpose of all the thorns? Its a very odd looking plant.

La question la plus "bizarre" (à mon avis) de Matrix porte sur Néo : Tant qu'il n'est pas mort et n'a pas trouvé la Foi (dans sa destinée), alors il n'est pas Néo.
Eh bien j'ai l'impression que Néo a trouvé la Foi. Mais est-ce celle qui lui permettra de lutter contre la domination des machines ? :-))

I only learned today that there is such a thing as a Question Mark Butterfly. This one surprised me as butterflies were certainly not on my mind since it's February. But again, this is Georgia, so you never know!
btw the question mark is in the underside of the butterfly, with a curve and a dot on one of the wings.

This was actually two photos I joined together as you can tell by the different background depths but I do love how they both walk towards me with their tails up like this.
Well, Jasper pulled his mom over for speeding yesterday. I questioned him on the wisdom of that because she is the one that does most of the feeding and walking and playing and belly rubbing, and... He told me that all humans are held equal under the eyes of the law. She paid the 2 dog bones and was sent on her way, hopefully at a more lawful speed. 😉
The sun is shining and spring is in the air, but there won’t be flowers here for a while yet. I found this photo that I took a couple of years ago and worked on it today. :) If you zoom in and search around, you will find a flower or two in focus... I promise! Lol

Thank you Annette Allor for properly identifying this butterfly for me. When it's wings are open it shows bright orange top wings. When closed the wings resemble a dead leaf. This one is eating on an over ripe Paw Paw fruit. Upper Marlboro, MD

This is Kiki my little powerhouse, Mexican Chihuahua x French Bulldog... she is uber attentive, vocal, super inquisitive, very protective, funny, playful and gets insulted if you don't understand her.. lol

Oktober 2024 konnte ich die bestens gepflegte "Blitz-Brille" 754.022 vor besagtem Zug zwischen Špičák und Železná Ruda město fotografieren.
Unfortunately, the use of the ‘diving goggles’ in front of the UIC Y coaches in the Bohemian Forest is now history. Since the timetable change, the SP 1702 from Klatovy to Železná Ruda-Alžbětín has been formed by two class 847 railcars. On 27 October 2024, I was able to photograph the well-maintained 754.022 in front of the train in question between Špičák and Železná Ruda město.

I don’t normally place much belief in dreams, but this time it was so powerful I actually got out of bed to start working on it before I forgot. I was “told” that I had to create several images that are black and white (not monochrome) with the emphasis on white, framed, contain people, and a bit of color. Oh yeah, the titles had to start with L, M, F, B, Q, or A (that’s the order I was given). After a couple of days, this collection is what I came up with. I also threw in a couple starting with S and T just for shits and giggles.
Food for thought, a really interesting article in the New York Times with big and true questions, an interesting read!
