A visit to the beach at Al Khor produced a decent amount of variety of birds. Some like this Common Greenshank were birds I was familiar with from home whilst others were a little more exotic.

The Dunlin is a bird we often see at our coast in Yorkshire. This one though was spotted feeding on the beach at Al Wakrah in Qatar at least three thousand miles away from home.
