Another approach to designing an origami Python logo. This model is folded from two separate sheets, which allows the snakes to be different colors and have color-change eyes using yet another color.

In 2004, a steel bridge over the falls was washed away by floods. In October 2010 a new, 20-tonne wood-and-copper one, spanning 20m across a very deep gorge, was hauled into place by hand because its location made it impossible to use a crane.[2] In July 2011 this new bridge was awarded at the International Footbridge Awards.[3] It was seen in the British comedy film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Burmese Python (Python bivittatus)
Coconut palms and other tropical plants make the background landscape look like this snake's native region of Southeast Asia. However, both the snake and the location are actually South Florida, where the Burmese Python is now a firmly established invasive species. One of the five largest species of snakes in the world, they can attain a length of 18+ feet. This individual was captured as a hatchling in the Florida Everglades. It belongs to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and is used as an educational animal. Photographed with a Canon EOS 7D Mark II, Canon 580ex II Speedlite, and Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X 116 Pro DX Lens at the UF/IFAS Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center.

My good old Snake Skin suit is still usable! The fabric lost a bit of its elasticity and gloss, some seams had been reworked several times, gloves and socks are worn-out - but still its looking great! First appearance of this suit was at gallery 25 in 2005 and I had this suit even before that date.
The colors and impressions of the fabric at different lightings are fascinating. At sun light the suit looks much more matte and colors are more brown/yellow, with flash light it looks more green-/blueish and much more textured. Just amazing.

Python bivittatus
A young adult male found on the crawl on a brutally hot and humid morning in extreme south Florida. This snake was an unexpected surprise while checking a trap line for other invasive species and is only the second python I've seen this year.

This carpet python was being harassed by a Currawong
(flic.kr/p/i2LBqe ) in Les Atkinson Park at Sunnybank, and eventually I decided not to get too close, as it was obviously a bit distressed. Eventually it slithered away.
Receiving a phone call telling me there is a beautiful snake a few hundred metres from my doorstep was bound to be the start of a goo evening..This is a Carpet python (Morelia spilota) from Smithfield, Queensland, what a great looking snake!

This beautiful exhibit has been on display at the San Diego Zoo for many years. I've been so impressed by the beauty of this snake skeleton, that years ago, after I killed a rattlesnake in my driveway, I put the body in my cactus garden so that the ants and beetles could strip it down to a skeleton. My brilliant plan failed because the coyotes came the same night, and ripped the carcass to pieces and ate most of the snake. Oh, well.
