The main evening events at dance exchanges are often full of fancy outfits, competitions and performances. However, it is at the after parties where dancers really let their hair down. The last night of the Sydney Lindy Exchange is traditionally "The Pyjama Party" where everyone from the visiting international dance instructors to the live band and jazz vocalist don sleepwear and dance until the wee hours of the morning when many would be dressing to start the day.
