After the sad demise of my other pocket camera (the Ricoh GR), I've returned to the Canon G7X which I bought for very little 2nd hand. If you push it it can make some nice bokeh, and I am now having a 'second honeymoon' with it :)

These Canada Geese take off into the morning light...my what a beautiful spectacle to see.It takes a lot of power and energy to muster those wings into flight.
Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul...Darrell.

Was walking down a strip mall and saw these flowers reflected in the window. They looked like they were sitting in the chair. Decided to do selective color.

A bicycle, also called a pedal cycle, bike, push-bike or cycle.
A push bicycle is simply a balance bicycle. The term was used by the Department for Transport in the early 1900s in the UK to refer to bicycles.
Adult push bikes became an issue of concern after Joseph Pennell of the "Romance of the Cyclists Touring Club" suggested that the use of the ‘push bike’ is a derogatory term for ‘bicycle’.
Nevertheless, the term ‘push bike’ is still being used today.

"My dear,
In the midst of hate, I found there was, within me, an invincible LOVE.
In the midst of tears, I found there was, within me, an invincible SMILE.
In the midst of chaos, I found there was, within me, an invincible CALM.
I realized, through it all, that...
In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.
And that makes me HAPPY.
For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me,
within me,
there's something stronger-
something better,
pushing right back."

I spent last week far from my daily neighborhood. The surroundings were great. The fellow garden full of flowers and wide fields full of space to breathe.
I wanted to fill every available minute with shooting, as it's so rare to have such a great scenery.
Talacre Lighthouse
Headed to Talacre for sunrise this morning. The tide was on its way out and had washed away any footprints from the previous evening. Since sunrise was at 5:30am we had the beach to ourselves so i took the opportunity to send the drone up for a few shots :)
There are moments when mixing music where a DJ knows the next track is going to bang. The beats are matched, the keys are harmonized, the foundation is set, and all that is left is to do is push the incoming track all the way into the mix. As the moment approaches it can make you shudder deliciously. We rejoice in these moments with you, feeling the room get charged only helps to drive the music forward from that point. It really is a symbiotic relationship.
For those interested but unaware, I have a selection of recorded mixes available here for your perusal.
Happy Equinox everyone! Love and light <3
What I assume to be KN33 heads south down the former WV Secondary, aiming for a turn at Deep Water down the former Virginian towards Elmore. KNWA uses NS run thru power most often and supplements the climb up from Deep Water with their second hand SD60 models. This is the rear 4 units out of six, giving a soft push past the load out at Mammoth. This load originated at Quincy, located right at the east end of Dickinson Yard outside of Charleston, WV.
The going starts to get tough in the next 7 miles.
playing around with what I can actually do in photoshop cc ,quite enlightening might not be to everyones tastes though
Having fun with the deep sky, but…
It really presents some challenges you don’t see with a basic nightscape!
I shot this in May 2021 from Lake Powell. A zoom show some star tracking—just a little misalignment in the tracker? Or just trying to push it too long?
I’ll have to try again!

Over the great lakes the weather can change in the blink of an eye. In the time it took me to walk from the pier to this location, not a hundred yards away the weather had come in even more. The dark clouds pressing down overtop of the sun, pushing down, creating tighter spaces within the scene. The moment stretched and distended, long enough for one perfect capture, the birds coming in, the father and son at the end of the dock. All as a storm rolled in over the lake, a moment of perfection, in our ever changing world.
