Korean Air 024 pushes from A11. The 747-8i is a truly beautiful aircraft; hopefully, more customers buy them but it's not looking good.
'Parkes' as Qantas 73 to San Francisco (SFO/KSFO) through pushback, taxi and departure 34L Sydney Airport (SYD/YSSY) - and that was the end of the light for the afternoon... Brilliant sunshine to ‘blah’ in the space of about 10 minutes! 😂😂

Mr. Mikhail Prokhorov's Airbus ACJ seen here pushing back and with two beacon lights flashing. A truly amazing paintscheme in this Airbus! I'm glad I had some nice pics of this exotic bird.

This is for sure one amazing airplane to shoot! The Tam A350-900 comes every 2 days in CDG, alterning with 777-300ER.
Its stand Z9 allows some night shots during pushback, at this time of the year during the end of the blue hour!!
This aircraft was withdrawn from LATAM's fleet in 2020.

A few days ago, Edelweiss Air took delivery of their second A.350, HB-IHC, which is another re-use of marks originally assigned to a different airframe.
Being one of 14 of the type operated, the original HB-IHC was a Douglas DC-10-30 of Swissair, built and delivered in 1973, and operating for the Swiss flag carrier until 1991. HB-IHC was seen shortly after pushback from Terminal B, ready to go for another long-range service. It was wearing Swissair's iconic brown and red livery, introduced in 1981 with the delivery of the first MD-81. Named "Luzern" upon delivery, the DC-10 lost its name to new A.310 HB-IPI in 1986, and was then named "Obwalden", after one of the other Cantons of Switzerland.
HB-IHC was eventually sold to Northwest Airlines in 1991, and gave another 10 years of flawless service to the US carrier before being withdrawn from use in 2001. It was broken-up around 2003 at Laurinburg-Maxton airport.

It's nice to see KLM's 747s back at San Francisco for the summer. Here, KLM 282, bound for Amsterdam, begins taxiing after pushback.
Not the best of journeys, full flight, passenger vomiting and clearing one row, disobedient passengers not sitting down delaying pushback. The joys of travel!

The beautiful Condor 767 pushes back for the flight back to FRA, under a great sunset light! One of my favorite Condor pics for sure!!! :D
Unfortunately, Condor is ceasing operations in Brazil, and this was their penultimate flight here in Fortaleza. Their operations at Recife have already ended, and we'll have their last flight on September 29th. Very sad! They serve Fortaleza since June 2014.
This 767, D-ABUI, is one of the few still sporting the old, blue scheme of Condor. I like it, and I also like the new one, so I really can't decide!
