The Chemical Brothers are an English electronic music duo formed by Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons in Manchester in 1989. They were pioneers (along with the Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and other acts) in bringing the big beat genre to the forefront of pop culture. They released their debut album Exit Planet Dust (1995) and it eventually went on to sell over a million copies worldwide. After attracting Virgin Records, the duo achieved more widespread success with their second album Dig Your Own Hole (1997), which topped the UK charts. In the UK, they have had six No. 1 albums and 13 Top 20 singles, including two No. 1 hits.
Their name came about in 1995 after they dropped their original name of "The Dust Brothers" due to the existence of a different band with the same name. "The Chemical Brothers" refers to the duo's 1993 groundbreaking "Chemical Beats", which epitomised their genre-defining sound. My brother has, or had, a Money Mark doll. This was also nicked from his car. I love the rotating card bit in the back cover; it reveals the songtitles.
I told Ron to push the button. I didn't expect him too, because he never does what I tell him to. So when this abandoned granary started running (startling the sleeping pigeons and us), he frantically pushed the button again to turn it off.

Something from the archive... Newcleus LP, I got this for a few reasons... It's got Jam On It and I wanted that on vinyl. It's got great art work and those stickers are way too cool.

25-03-10 I am feeling very uninspired today. Got up late worked on my dissertation for a few hours then realised I needed to get a shot for today. I have not even left my flat. All I did was lie down and take a pic of my home theatre PC! Even the processing was an afterthought. I placed a two colour filter on the image in Color efex pro and re cropped it in lightroom. I cant say I am overly pleased with the result but its not so bad that I didn't feel like posting it ;)
