The National Space Centre, Leicester. England.
A great bit of theatre that everybody enjoys. It is of course not a real rocket but a cleverly crafted smoke and lighting illusion with sound.
Finally figured out where those lost socks go.

I honestly don't know why this is here.
Vive weirdness!

January 3, 2015: Winding it up in Wickenburg, a little slice o' Colorado right there in Arizona.
It says right there what it's for. But you wanna know how many people push it thinking it makes the light change faster or enables the pedestrian signal? I don't know either, but it's a lot of people.

Mary Sortile shows some of the buttons from the 1920's-1960's wall at Exclusive Buttons at 10252 San Pablo Avenue in El Cerrito, California. This is just a small sampling. There are buttons in display cabinets, buttons in drawers and more buttons on walls.
Originally based in Berkeley, the store moved to its current tiny location 27 years ago and counts Lucas Films and the San Francisco Opera among its customers.
After her husband Vince passed away a few years ago, Mary has continued to open the shop and push buttons every Friday and Saturday.

A gravel gets into the eyes of a little boy by the huge wind and his sister keeps pushing the button to help her brother to take some water and teaches him the way how to clean his eyes by water.
I prefer not only the simple photo about button, but also a warming story around the button.
The rebuild of my LOC IV rocket looks glorious against the NASA Hangar, and this may have been the loudest launch of the day, with a Canadian propellant infused with titanium sponge (leading to the shower of sparks cascading to the ground). Best viewed large.
This is the one with the JB Weld-slathered fins, and many rebuilds since her first flight in 2006.
This is the main power supply switchboard of one of the biggest IT Datacenter in Europe. The message is: if you do Push the Button, think before you do!!!
