In the pursuit to expand my knowledge in all things Italian, my Blue Phoenix made sure to introduce me to the music and poetry of Vasco Rossi. He's a fan, you see. And now, so am I.
To My B. of B.- I now know that "Chicken Parmigiana" does not really exist in Italy, and that Vasco Rossi is a genius poet and amazing singer.

Sometimes when you go out in pursuit of certain species of birds you can often leave an area quite disappointed at times?
However, it's often the regulars in places you visit that can save the day. In this case, this lovely little Meadow Pipit popped up out of nowhere to ignite my flame and save the day....Thanks for looking
I spotted this bird on my return walk from Cape Woolamai on Phillip Island. It was hunting for insects on a dune, some 50 meters away from the waves that early afternoon.
It isn't the best time of a day for photography but I don't come across a White-fronted Chat every day.

Photography is my pursuit, mainly in things that are broken and not so pretty. I have always felt a connection to these type of places. I think because at one time they were loved and cherished and then were forgotten but the life and beauty remained even when covered in dirt and grime.

Quand un enfant poursuit un pigeon, il est rare que le Foutographe déclenche.
Ce n'était jusque là jamais arrivé : les enfants, c'est pas trop une bonne idée en photo de rue, et c'est bien normal.
Mais quand vous suivez un pigeon, qu'il décolle, qu'un bout d'chou fait un photobomb dans l'image et en plus se paie le luxe de n'être qu'une silhouette de vêtements...
Vole, petit pigeon. Vole...!
