Had to wait for the wife to go out for this one. Electric lighter on the gas cooker after taking it to bits.
A former Pure Oil gas station in downtown Richmond, Indiana. Now used as a Safe Auto insurance office. This is listed as being built in 1940 and being modified in 1960. This isn't the best quality shot, I only noticed the building when going past it on the road.

Color my Day

cotton candy colors always made me happy....
I like to watch the sugar spin
like a top
I like the scent of cotton candy
At the cotton candy stand
along the boardwalk
there are candy apples, carmel corn
and salt water taffy
but I wish to
take a taste of yesterday
sights and tastes and scent and sound
twirling the paper stick around
adding all the colors of the rainbow
pinks, blues, orange, yellows
sticky fingers
at the fair
eating cotton candy
nothing like it anywhere
spun sugar happiness
always eat it on the ferris wheel
spinning around and around
fingers full of cotton candy
sticky giggles
bubble gum flavors
color my day
with cotton candy
let the kid inside you
remember
and don't ever grow
up enough to
ever forget...
Lilies and Roses are two of my favourite flowers.....although I don't think I
have come across a flower that I didn't like.
I love the purity of the white lily......they are so versatile in any arrangement as
are roses. As pointed out to me by some yesterday, care has to be taken with
the pollen from lilies. I have just had a new window blind fitted because of staining lol
Some people pinch out the centres but I prefer to put them on a wipeable surface.

Pure Violet has one of the best Sekiguchi face. I like her make-up and her personality, not so much her hair. That's why I wanted her rerooted.

I must admit this tested my technical phorographic skills - to say nothing about the compositional ones!
There was an enormous dynamic range here with the main issue being the highlights where the sun was hitting the top of the waterfall. Shot in PEF RAW with 0.5 EV and a value of 60 highlight recovery - plus the need to keep the shutterspeed down to blur the water...
Finally! Got the body from HLJ yesterday. I preordered it ages ago. When I was in Japan I saw them and I thought, oh well I preordered already so I might as well wait. And then I waited for 3 months! @_@ HLJ, why are so slowwwwww~
The body feels solid and heavy. Articulation is yes and no. Yes, because it is still jointed. No, because the joints are pretty much confined to turning clockwise or anticlockwise, and for this sitting pose, you don't want to turn the joints in an awkward way, so you are confined to certain pose only.
I almost feel like this Pure Neemo body is Azone's way to compete with Volks' Custom Figure Kit. VCFK is of course more sophisticated in a way, that it requires drilling and sanding. But they are both made of sturdy material (vs. lighter plasticky body), and they are more like "figures" rather than "dolls".
She is wearing Licca clothes. Her bottom seems to be bigger than Licca body, so pulling up the pants is a challenge. Of course, this sitting pose is not helping neither.
Nevertheless, I still think it is a cute body!
