So, when I was in HS, I took this really lovely Christmas carol and, uh, changed the words a bit, so that it became more of a bodice-ripper than a nice Christmas song. Fortunately, I wrote those lyrics down.
Fast forward several years to last night, when H and I went to sing some songs for M. We happened upon these lyrics, and we knew the song MUST be turned into a puppet show immediately.
Enter my Strawberry Shortcake dolls, and the rest writes itself.
This was the cast. It was NOT a nativity scene. At all.
H thinks that it's clear enough we've gone crazy with our snowed-in circumstance, but I wanted to mention it.

When Eleanor & Larry were moving house we had their 5 furry rat babies to stay for a couple of nights... We loved watching their funny antics & feeding them treats & the girls were so entertaining... the boys mostly slept.
On Saturday 7th of March we all gathered at Mary & John's for lunch together to celebrate their 46th Anniversary. I always love these family gatherings as it's wonderful to be part of a family again, but I was not feeling at my best & was exhausted afterwards... thankfully Liam & his puppet show provided the entertainment so I Was off the hook!

Amy is moving soon and wanted to put on a puppet show in her room before she left.

Miles got a puppet theater & puppets (pig, fish, chicken) at Ikea.
After a while, the show became a little unorthodox.
Mrs Acorn, Rocky and Timmy were a real crowd pleaser and taught an important lesson on wearing your seat belt.
Dolley Madison Library has a new puppet theatre. On Feb. 23, 2018, Youth Services Manager David and his assistant Nora presented "The Three Little Pigs".
The lady controlling the puppet must be a newcomer to the troupe. A trainer is seen here giving pointers. The string puller has to stand up and is the voice behind the puppet. One has to have a good loud voice and strong biceps and triceps! This one was near temple at carpark of Blk 119.
