Doha - The city I love second to my home town and Qatar, the second country I love after my motherland.
Its a pulsing living breathing place where you see every day growing not by inches but meters.
I was willing to capture its pulses one day and here it is. Captured from a bird's eye view, I see the city's pulses moving and dazzling around..

This gentleman was pushing a shopping cart across the intersection when we stopped to look at the site. Interesting suddenly needed to examine the inscriptions on display. We avoided him.

Up until now there has never been an Apple Watch charging dock for folks who appreciate Japanese culture and cute things - Mirai Pulse changes this first world problem.
I picked up the Apple Watch after watching the Keynote on WatchOS 3 and decided to get one. After playing around with it for a while and thinking about the Smart Watch market, I saw a trend where the manufacturers are mostly marketing their wearable machines as a health device.
Smart Watches are essentially computers sized down to fit in a watch. What makes the Apple Watch special however is that the form is not hindered by protruding lugs like all other Smart Watches out there - this makes the Apple Watch's rounded rectangle perfect to be put in other places - who said it had to be worn on a wrist?

A day or so late.... but 10 Feb is apparently World Pulses Day. Not sure what I might have done to celebrate it- eat lentil soup maybe?
First designated in 2016 by the UN - "to raise awareness of the importance of Pulses in contributing to sustainable food production aimed towards food security"

A pulse of paths spreads from and returns to Old Ash.Through rusted iron gates that lift to open.Down wet stoney lanes just wide enough for feet.Outwards to school, mills, canals, markets and neighbours.Back to home.Years ago in the early summer workers came along these paths having crossed the Irish Sea from the Isle of Man.They came with Sythes, sharpening stones and canvas.Working from farm to farm through the Pennines they cut green acres of hay meadows and later wheat and barley until summer turned to autumn and they returned back across the sea like migrating birds.
