I cannot remember if this was a Pentax K1000 B&W white shot I took as a photography student in 1996, or a colour shot I took on lunch break a year later in 1997. At any rate, this print was hand-processed by me when on old stock 4X6" matte paper from 1957 that was collecting dust in the back of the film fridge in the photography classroom until I started experimenting with it in the spring of 1998.
The grindstone was used by prisoners of war in the construction of the Dominion Experimental Farm (just west of the town).
