This Proven Winner tropical hibiscus (Disco Diva) has bloomed all Summer and has one more huge bloom to go! I picked 2 of them up @ Home Depot months ago & whatever I paid for them - it's been a bargain.

Saw these as I was driving, and not knowing what they were. I had to stop and take a photo. Through an online search, they are Salvia Guaranitica. Wikipedia also refers to this flower as anise-scented sage or hummingbird sage

Supertunia petunias are vigorous with slightly mounded habits that function as both fillers and spillers in containers. They are also excellent landscape plants, best suited to be placed near the front of beds. They have medium to large flowers.
Recently discovered this Evolvulus genus wildflower in one of my flower beds. Researching the plant, I came across the curious, but appropriate name in the title. A truly eerie blue Evolvulus hybrid.
