This Proven Winner tropical hibiscus (Disco Diva) has bloomed all Summer and has one more huge bloom to go! I picked 2 of them up @ Home Depot months ago & whatever I paid for them - it's been a bargain.

Saw these as I was driving, and not knowing what they were. I had to stop and take a photo. Through an online search, they are Salvia Guaranitica. Wikipedia also refers to this flower as anise-scented sage or hummingbird sage

Recently discovered this Evolvulus genus wildflower in one of my flower beds. Researching the plant, I came across the curious, but appropriate name in the title. A truly eerie blue Evolvulus hybrid.
