I when to Rochester Castle to take photos of the castle but there was too many people around to get a clean shot. Then I noticed the protest. It was small and peaceful but they got their point across.

Look at the young men like insects on the statue, and the list of all the things there are to protest against (on the sign). And look at the kids in hoods, some of whom were robbing and harrassing protesters.

Even though this guy was judgemental, he was willing to go to the church to see what was there when invited by one of the members of the church. (See next picture).

In these photos, taken in Johannesburg in 2012, SAMWU had been demonstrating against tolling of the countries roads and the use of labour broking. The march had been termed the mother of all protest actions. The one day march had been successful and resulted in the Government temporarily halting the introduction of road tolling and significant in-roads in discussions aimed at bringing an end to labour broking.

The village will be demolished to make way for another dock of the harbor of Antwerp. It is very eerie walking around; here and there some people still live in their houses, putting a sign in their window to let the destruction companies know to not demolish their property.
