Pot Day protest mid seventies. Going through a miserable hot and humid stretch of weather I dug this shot out of archives and breathed some new life into this shot with my denoise software.

Shortly after my stint in the Army in '71, I did what I could to protest the war in Viet Nam and made the New Orleans' Times Picayune newspaper, even though they misinterpreted my motive. I remember having to stand on the hand railing to reach the top of the letters!

You know what? I saw a lot of the protesters out there, faces covered, trying to be shady. These protesters were out in the open, causing no problems and being amicable to people.
I'm with them. I share their message.
There were some other students protesting for "Safe Data Mining" but I didn't get a chance to photograph them. I have to say, I'm all for "Safe Data Mining."

Upside-down Dutch flags in de Achterhoek (GLD). The use and desecration of national symbols became a point of public contention during the 2022 protests against plans to reduce nitrogen compound emissions in the Netherlands.
Protesters join together for a movement against for the freedom of children and families and the immigration laws. The movement in New Mexico consisted of many telling their stories about how their generation settled and where they came from.

Hamburg was on fire last weekend, but the majority of people chose a peaceful way to show their protest.
