The blue Helix Bridge designed by Marcus Taylor is one of a number of innovative bridges incorporated into the regeneration of Paddington Basin. the distinctive feature of the Helix Bridge is that it retracts by rotating like a corkscrew.

Angmering village descended into chaos while Roundstone Lane was closed for four days so that they could install sewage pipes to the new Swanbourne Park housing estate. Trade at Manor Nursery was hit very hard, during what would normally be our absolute busiest week of the year ... the week leading up to the second May Bank Holiday.
This is a slightly different view of the building work going on behind Manor Nursery in Angmering. I had to scramble through the brambles to take these photos! I hope to be able to see more. Next time I'd better take a ladder ... I was trying to find out whether the sunset tree was on the land for development, or in the private garden next door.
