“Become aware of the proper function of the senses so you may know their limitations, their “shackles”, thereby becoming receptive to the “dawning of the lights” of the soul’s true realm.” Suhrawardi
Graffiti at Kingspoint Proper. The owner/operator of this location was murdered shortly after I had met him. This was his life's work. Bringing artists together for causes he cared about.
On Oct. 15th, the Delaware National Guard celebrated the life and legacy of a true warrior and pioneer Maj. Gen. Carol Timmons, who passed away earlier this year. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the military memorial was delayed to ensure proper protocol and safety measures were taken. The event safely hosted many family members, friends and workers, and distinguished guests.
Thank you Gen. Timmons for your lifetime of service and dedication to the state and nation.
Initially photographed this because Lance has the same Surly frame and set up.
But then realised that they are the first bikes that I've seen being locked up properly.
And just to make it clear, I really dislike this type of bike racks because they make lock-up jobs that much more difficult. Oh, and it pinches your tires.
I decided to create a proper flower bed in front of the house. There's a lot of wind here and only about 25cm of soil in which to plant, though. that means I had to think long and hard about what I put in there. It can't be anything that will grow too tall or fragile or the wind will blow it down. So, I shopped around and decided that what I should do was to plant a few small shrubs and then sow seeds I collect on my own out and about in my town to fill in between the shrubs. If all of those tiny green dots in the soil survive the winter it should look pretty good next summer when everything starts to bloom.
