Students Promoting Healthy Youth Relationships (SPHYR) is a youth-led club at Jenkins High School in Chewelah, WA. In honor of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, Club SPHYR is facilitating In Their Shoes to the entire school! SPHYR also organized Orange For Love Day, and other Respect Week Activities!
Family Support Center's mission is to "create an abuse-free environment in Stevens County." Family Support Center is a program of Rural Resources offering advocacy to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, elder abuse and all crimes. Family Support also offers free prevention and awareness education to the public. www.ruralresources.org

Governor Maura Healey, joined by Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll, signs an executive order to increase the state’s energy supply and reduce costs during a signing ceremony at Lynch Elementary School, which is powered entirely from roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar, in Winchester on Mar. 16, 2026. The executive order directs the Healey-Driscoll Administration to secure 10 new gigawatts of energy resources by 2035, as well as five gigawatts of new energy storage. The order requires agencies to pursue a range of energy resources and ensure adequate supplies in place to meet growing demand and lower bills. It outlines directives for stage agencies related to solar, storage, wind, load management, gas, nuclear and geothermal, leading to an estimated savings of $10 billion for Massachusetts residents and businesses.[Joshua Qualls/Governor’s Press Office]
