I have chosen to promote once again Dionne Warwick singing
"That's What Friends Are For"

because I truly believe that this is what my work is all about, reaching out to friends with love, light and friendship. There is also a nature aspect to this work, which I believe we have to reach out to and protect, appreciate and love as well. And to be totally honest I love the song. This is the 3rd work that I combined with it.
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

" The Long View on the Rising Ground [ 2] "
This is the 2nd version of this photo that I have put up here. However, I am not putting this up to promote my photos or look for comments or faves. I already have a version of this photo on here [2nd last photo back] that is not in any groups and I am more than happy with it, thanks. I am putting this up to show people on here how to work around the 30/60 group maximum rule that Flickr introduced over a month ago!
People who have PRO status on here can only now put there photos in 60 groups and those with non Pro status in only 30 groups. This is not enough for many of us!
However, there is a way around it in which we can put each of our photos in hundreds of groups or as many as you like by following these instructions and not breaking any rules.
There are lots of administrators of groups on here who do not want to accept Flickrs ruling as it is affecting their viewing figures so they have decided to allow us to add as many photos as we want to their groups,
but you must do this in the correct order or Flickr will block you when you have added only 60/30 photos maximum!
From tomorrow morning, Tuesday [9/1/2017] I will start adding this photo to groups and will by the end of the week, Friday,[ 12/1/2017 ] have this photo in over 100 groups.
If you drop by between tomorrow and next thurday I will have put the instructions on how to do the first stage, and then on Friday I will put up on ,how to do the 2nd/3rd final stage.
I know that lots of people dont understand how to do this as English is not there first language so please, if you are there friends and can translate for them, please do. Flickr translate is worse than useless!!! Others dont understand how to do this this because of the complications of modern technology { Im one of those who struggle with modern stuff too!} so this is why Im doing it step by step to help people understand. Its easy once you do it the first time!
Please do join the "OPT OUT GROUP"
[www.flickr.com/groups/2982691@N21/ ] where my good frends, i LOVE NatureiLOVEnature's Photography Inspiration and SaffyH SaffyH have compiled a list of the groups that have opted out of the 30/60 maximum rule and you can use as many of these groups as you like but only when stage one is complete!!!!!!! Thank you to them for explaining to me how to do his! They will also help you in any way they can including assisting administrators who wish to opt their groups out of the 30/60 restrictions!
Hopefully I will catch you here between tomorrow and Thursday and if you have any queries do message me as I will be more than pleased to help you if I can!

TUESDAY 9/1/2018
Hi all! I said Id come back this morning and start adding this photo to opt in grops { groups that have stayed with the 30/60 maximum ruling! }
I am adding the photo to 30 of these froups today and I will add it to a further 30 [total 60} on friday}
I could add it to 60 now in one hit but it is better to do it in 2 or more sections. The reason for this is as follows;
When you put up say one of your phoos and add it to one group, it immediatly goes on the first page of the group site and can be seen by all who visit that group. However as the day progresses, more people will add their photos to the group and your photo will go onto the 2nd, 3rd or 4th page etc and will disappear from public view as most people only look at the first webpage on a group site! By splitting the sixty groups into smaller sections of say 30+30 or 15 +15+15 +15 or whatever way you want to do it, your photo is getting more exposure to the public view. You could of course if you have lots of time, put your photo into 60 opt in groups today, remove it from these groups tomorrow and then add it to 60 new opt in groups. Its your choice.Just do remember that 60 is the total maximum you can leave up!!
Im now adding my photo to my 30 groups.
I will drop back on Friday next to complete step one and do step 2 [opt out groups }and step 3 if any!
By the way, to find out if a group is opt in or opt out, open the groups main page. Scroll down to the bottom and its written in the first paragraph!! Do remember to choose only opt in groups at this stage!!
This photo has 77 Faves overnight which I didnt really want but thats how good people are on here!
We will see how many extra faves, if any, it has by Friday!!
Hope your day is good and thank you for joining me!!!!

Friday 12/1/2018
Hiya!
The photo has done quite well since I put it up last Tuesday.
1250 Views! If only 25% of the people here, read this and use the "Workaround" as suggested, that would be really great!
I checked back 6 hours later, on the groups[ 30 ] I had put he photo in, and it had disappeared of their front pages. Mostly it was on the third page. This means that the photo loses interest very quickly as it is pushed further back as other members add their photos. It might be better to add the 60/30 opt in groups over a longer period of time, say 5 per day over 12 days. If course, the larger the group the photo is added to, the quicker it disappears off the front page. In smaller groups it would stay visible for longer.
Im now going to add it to the remaining 30 {Opt In } groups.
Now I have reached the maximum. I can still remove some at this stage and add other ones in but Im leaving it as is.
Im now going to add the opt out groups that I have colected. Approximately 40. { Stage 2 }
Ive finished that and including admin approval on 6 of the photos, I have now put the photo in over 100 groups. I will add more opt out ones as I find them.
It is at this point that any group invites that you have should be added. { Stage 3 }
I do hope you may find this helpful and If you have any questions, please ask and Ill do my best to answer them.
Thanks for all your Faves, comments and your kindness!

Paulownia Tomentosa the Anna Paulownia tree.
I have found this tree in an Arboretum in Eeklo Belgium!
It's worth it ! ;-) yes it does 😍
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A true and interesting story:
Carving paulownia wood is an art form in Japan and China.
The leaves can be eaten cooked; the flowers are edible, for example in a salad. But people only eat the plant in dire need, when there is nothing else to eat.
In early spring, before the leaves emerge, the fragrant, light lilac-purple flowers appear. Their scent is reminiscent of vanilla.
A decoction of the leaves is used to cleanse nasty sores and is said to promote hair growth and prevent graying. The leaves can also be used as a compress for bruises. The juice of the leaves is used against warts. The flowers are used in the treatment of skin conditions. A tincture of the bark is used in the treatment of fever and delirium. It has an astringent effect and is also used to expel parasitic worms.
The wood is not attacked by insects and is used to make boxes, clogs, furniture, musical instruments, etc. It is suitable for poles and beams in construction and a source of charcoal. The nitrogen-rich leaves are a good fodder crop and the roots prevent soil erosion. Various Asian string instruments are made from Paulownia tomentosa, including the Japanese koto and the Korean gayageum zither.
The plant contains a number of potentially toxic substances.
In China, this tree was traditionally planted at the birth of a girl. The fast-growing tree developed as the girl grew up. When she got married, the tree was cut down and the wood was carved into items for her dowry.

I did not know this, but now I do ;-)

The Norwegian Natur & Foto Magazine organized for the 7th time the largest, likely most prestigious, Nordic nature and wildlife photography competition.
With its fantastic nature, unique light, magnificent wildlife and plant life, Nordic nature is in a class of its own and the magazine wants to promote that via the Nordic Nature Photo Contest, which is international and open to everyone. All images must be shot in one of the Nordic countries, Norway including Svalbard, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, the Faeroe Islands and/or Greenland.
One of the images I sent was a high key image of an Apollo (Parnassius apollo). In Finland, the beautiful, elusive, though vulnerable Apollo butterfly was one of the first species of insects declared endangered in the country and is thus very hard to find. I have tried to photograph it throughout the last few summers, though not always with success.
However, there is always a chance to get lucky... and I did... back in July 2016. Went to an area in the South of Finland where the Apollo flies in limited numbers. I searched, stayed patient and got 'awarded'. The Apollo visible, in this now awarded image, was either not warmed up properly, or simply lacking energy, as it was extremely calm for some 20 minutes providing me however with enough photographic opportunities. I converted this particular image into a high key B&W using Silver Efex Pro, but kept the 'eyes', though partially hidden as the wings were closed, red.
As you all know, I am on the never ending pursuit of that next ‘cracking shot’ … and long may it still continue. Happy days! For further information on the competition, please visit www.nnpc.no/en/

'Promoting peace and harmony.'
Here in Canada, today being the day to remember and consider the awfulness of war, across the country we stopped at the eleventh hour of this eleventh day of the eleventh month for a minute of quiet henotic thought.
And a fine little assemby of birds of prayer hoisted their tiny flag and added their sincere desires for lasting peace and harmony.
I love nature, arts and crafts, i love photgraph ,i love nature. This is my inspirations to make my crafts being different from them,i love to promote my craft in this way
CRAFT REVOLUTION / MOSAIC APPLICATION IN A PATCHWORK APPROACH, A TRULLY NEW LINE IN A ROW
Doing things like no other before is like walking in another line, why we need to do being different from them, how do we see things in another side? Is this possible to have a new line in a row?
New line in a row is a fresh and clear action ,as an artist , as a creator of this particular crafts , I love to share what I have after my long journey , this world is so fast in many particular , technology ,development, high-rise building new phone , everything that we can consider as our home outside our home or a chips on our big pockets , weight less but full of everything what we put inside that chips for our own purposes,
This new craft was born in this particular world of arts but I found out, this craft is out of the line , the material is there , the colors is in there, the meaning is there , the message is there , everything is there , and still I cannot fine the right line for this particular crafts,
I start doing craft on my early age, I still remembering cutting pages of full colored magazine cut in a small piece and paste it, collect all the colored papers and cut and paste it just my start, I love to draw plant animals flowers birds everything about nature, and this track considering of my actions whom I am now, in my own world,
I never finish college, as my root, but I take a fine arts courses in one best school in Philippines (U.S.T. University Of Santo Tomas) Manila the oldest School in Asia the school for Architecture and Fine Arts, that time I feel bless, it because I never dream to get enter in that school, I walk barefooted in my young age, I never dream one day I was in one of the room in there. In my teenage days I was always in a church I am a member of a choir group, but my voice is not good at that time, but I feel important when I am part of this group , our master telling me you are part of this group and your voice is to important to us, I joint also a theater club my master told me , here in our company money is hard to find and the only things I can share to you is how they praise you after the production is done, this group is a community base just for a public information and services, and that’s true I feel different from other person when I joint in this group I have many friends , they all like me as a devil in my characters I always portray , this group give ME more opportunity to explore my space more on the way I never do and think before, or maybe I get out of that box I never notice in this way, or I walk in a new line in a row ,
This group also sent me to college, and I walk out in this group and stop my study up to 2nd years in colleges of course the main reason is money, yes this is my hard times at that moment I need to decide which way I need to walk, to finish or make another way like a new line in a row, I need to force my self to work hard for my daily bread.
New line in a row is a formation of things on how we see and need to act patiently specially in our materials that surround us. Or a CALL on how we make a line in a way we can move perfectly, and this is what I want to share to you,
New line in a row is my greatest achievement, after searching and looking for arts and crafts, i look more books, searching more artist, looking for the master, site in the internet, regarding arts and crafts, and still I never see anything that need to compare on my crafts, but this crafts more on mosaic, patchwork, color pixel in our computer and idea coming from cross stitching, and how it make it different from them,?
Mosaic is a form of arts more on glass and stone or anything that form pattern and pastes it,
Patchwork is a form of arts too start from our old clothes recycled it and form pattern too.
Cross stitching is also form of arts that need to count and have pattern too.
Color pixel normally found in our computer if we want to see or using magnifying glass to see thing clear.
I never research much on this particular meaning (mosaic, patchwork, cross stitching, pixels,) suggestion is always welcome or comment to this particular is will help much,
This kind of words build my composition and remind me, where I start thinking and looking in different way, how can I called my crafts , or where can I place it , I thinking is there a room for me, the answer is YES , I can place it in a galleries of mosaic,
In a patchwork, in pixel room, but not in a wall that hangs cross stitching arts,
But more on more that way, my experiment get more wild and run, colored pixel is always many colors in his single square form, I decide to get out in this category,
I try more research about patchwork , and I see more clear things in this room , the next things I open my mind to the mosaic room and get involved more on more , and I notice a clear picture and help me to categories my craft more in this way.
I draw another line, a new line in a row
After fifteen years searching for the soul of my arts, I try to make room for them, I want to be different from them, I want to be more careful and I want to have a free form from them,
Arts is copying nature I thought, and maybe I think in this way, but copying is like doing things you admire and seeing things that guide us, copying is the only easy way to make us more competitive or maybe more to be exact, new line in a row starting in this way collect the things that have a connection on me make a clear picture and transform in a way I do now,
New line in a row is a form of arts with the relationship to the crafts world,
Arts is different from the crafts, arts is unique form and creation of human no same things have in common with out copying using special tools we have..
Crafts are more on copying have pattern to create more precise and get to perfectly conclusion.
New line in a row is my first step to get out of the box, I never notice for long way before.
New line in a row is a form of CRAFTS after all!
I called this crafts MOSAIC CLOTH IN A PATCHWORK APPROACH
A truly NEW LINE IN A R0W

In common with all other Vulcans, she was constructed by A V Roe & Co. at its Chadderton, and Woodford plants, and made her first flight, lasting 95 minutes, from Woodford on August 23rd, 1962. After four further test flights, XL426 was collected by an RAF crew and entered service with 83 Squadron at RAF Scampton on September 13th, 1962.
The Scampton Wing (Nos. 27, 83 and 617 Squadrons) were at the time in the process of equipping with the Blue Steel stand-off missile. From September 1961, all aircraft delivered to these squadrons were specially modified to carry the new weapon, which was loaded, semi-recessed, in the Vulcan’s bomb-bay.
In 83 Squadron markings (MAP/E Taylor)In December 1962, Wing Commander (later Group Captain) John Slessor took over command of 83 Squadron from Wing Commander (later Air Commodore) Ray Davenport. John Slessor selected XL426 as his personal aircraft for his three-year tour, and she proudly bore the squadron commander’s pennant painted below her cockpit. On September 10th, 1963, whilst returning from Goose Bay, Canada, John Slessor flew XL426 to RAF Scampton in 4 hours 5 minutes - an unofficial record, pre-Concorde, for a crossing of the North Atlantic at that time.
In April 1964, the centralised servicing was introduced at RAF Scampton, meaning aircraft were no longer assigned to individual units, but instead were ‘pooled’ and assigned to squadrons on a day-by-day basis. XL426 was flown by all three squadrons of the Scampton Wing, which was now was fully operational with Blue Steel.
With the transfer of the nuclear deterrent role to the Royal Navy in 1969, Blue Steel was withdrawn and the Scampton squadrons were assigned to the tactical nuclear and conventional bombing roles.
Individual unit allocations were resumed in January 1971, and for the next 10 years, XL426 spent most of her time with 617 Squadron, although she also had brief spells with 27 Squadron and 230 Operational Conversion Unit, which had moved to RAF Scampton from RAF Finningley in December 1969.
In 1981, XL426 had the dubious distinction of being the 298th and last Vulcan to undergo a major service at RAF St Athan. Completion of the service was marked with a formal hand-over ceremony at which Air-Vice Marshal Richardson, RAF Support Command, and RAF Waddington’s Commanding Officer, Group Captain Warrington, both signed for the aircraft. Also present was Warrant Officer John ‘Bob’ Shillings, one of XL426’s first crew chiefs when she had entered service with 83 Squadron back in 1962.
617 Squadron disbanded at the end of 1981 and XL426 was transferred to 50 Squadron at RAF Waddington, making the short flight south to join her new unit on January 4th, 1982. 50 Squadron became the last Vulcan squadron, operating six aircraft as air-to-air tankers until the Vulcan was finally withdrawn from operational service in 1984. XL426 was not converted to a tanker, but was one of three Vulcans retained by the squadron as a B2 to act as a crew trainer, helping to take some of the weight of flying off the shoulders of the already overstretched tankers. She had also been used as a trials aircraft as part of the Vulcan tanker test programme in 1982. XL426 was one of four Vulcans that took part in the Falklands Victory Flypast over London on October 12th, 1982 (although XL426 herself had not played an active role in the war itself). On March 30th, 1984, XL426 had the ultimate accolade of performing 50 Squadron’s last display, in the hands of Squadron Leader Joe L’Estrange, at the squadron’s disbandment ceremony at RAF Waddington.
Withdrawal of the Vulcan from operational service did not, however, spell the end of XL426’s flying days. Very much aware of the Vulcan’s tremendous public relations appeal, and already committed to a number of air displays appearances in the upcoming 1984 season, XL426 was kept airworthy (along with XH560 in reserve) for air display purposes. The two aircraft formed what became known as the Vulcan Historical Flight (later the Vulcan Display Flight - VDF), staffed initially entirely by volunteers. Under the command of Squadron Leader (later Group Captain) Bill Burnett, the Flight and XL426 gave their first display at No IX Squadron’s Standard Presentation Parade at RAF Honington on May 23rd, 1984.
The Flight went on to give more than 50 displays during the course of the 1984 season, and it was agreed to continue displaying XL426 into 1985. As the 1985 season progressed, a close eye was kept on XL426’s flying hours, as the time when she would require another major service was rapidly approaching. Plans were put in hand to replace her with another aircraft and, eventually, a replacement aircraft -XH558 - was found (retrieved from the fire dump at RAF Marham) and XL426 gave her final display at the RAF Coningsby Open Day on June 14th, 1986.
XL426 was put up for sale during the summer of 1986 and agreement was reached with a French consortium for her purchase. Meanwhile, the VDF was temporarily relocated to RAF Scampton to allow runway resurfacing to take place at Waddington, XL426 making the short flight back to her former home on July 27th. The French deal subsequently fell through and XL426 was sold to Roy Jacobsen, who had purchased another Vulcan (XM655) two years earlier. XL426 was delivered to her new owner at Southend Airport on December 19th, 1986, following a 20 minute flight from RAF Scampton. On arrival at Southend, XL426 had amassed 6236 hours flying time, having made over 1800 separate flights.
Roy Jacobsen had ambitious plans to operate XL426 as a civilian display aircraft, under the auspices of an organisation he had formed called the Vulcan Memorial Flight. XL426 was entered onto the British civil aircraft register as G-VJET and approaches were made to a number of potential sponsors. However, the sums required to carry out the necessary servicing work and finance the aircraft’s ongoing operation could not be found and XL426 remained dormant at Southend. In 1990, local enthusiasts formed the Vulcan Memorial Flight Supporters Club (VMFSC) to help promote Mr Jacobsen’s continuing efforts to return XL426 to the air, and to also take care of the aircraft’s continued preservation.
The VMFSC took over ownership of XL426 in July 1993 and subsequently re-formed as a registered charity, the Vulcan Restoration Trust.

Special logojet promoting 'Star Wars - Galaxy's Edge', the latest movie in the Star Wars franchise, featuring the 'Millennium Falcon'.
Named: "Hot Lips", later "The Falcon" (Sep-19).
Originally ordered by GECAS for lease to Alitalia as EI-CVI, the lease was cancelled and the aircraft was leased to Virgin Atlantic Airways as G-VLIP in May-01.
In May-10 it carried large 'Harry Potter' graphics until Jan-11. In Sep-19 the aircraft was renamed 'The Falcon' and repainted in a Star Wars 'Millennium Falcon' special livery promoting the 'Star Ward - Galaxy's Edge' movie.
Virgin Atlantic were due to start retiring their seven remaining B747-400's from the end of 2000, however the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020 caused them to retire the aircraft early. All seven aircraft were initially stored at Manchester, UK in Mar/Apr-20.
They are gradually being moved to Ciudad Real in central Spain for long term storage and lease return. This aircraft ferried Manchester / Ciudad Real on 15-Jun-20.
It was ferried to London-Heathrow and onwards to Marana, AZ, USA in Dec-20 where it was permanently retired.

Another fun image from my promoting passion fun. If you dont know, the wonderful Lindsay Adler was kind enough to model for us doing the photo adventure.
It was so surreal talking to, working with, just plain belng around photographers that I admire.
I keep finding myself wishing I was back in the magic again.

About a year ago I posted a slide scan of a blue 1954 Chevrolet delivery truck, here is a link to that photo - flic.kr/p/2orwX6Y - I had purchased that slide, and the one posted here, from the same seller, and both photos look like they were taken at the same facility (whose location is unknown), just a few months apart, the mount for this one only shows “May 1953”.
This spotless, smart-looking, brand new yellow step-van has hub caps and an emblem just below the windshield that show it to be a Chevrolet. – What I thought to be most interesting was the center of the grille which had a circular chrome or stainless design as well as the name “CAR O VAN” in red letters.
I could not find any evidence that Chevrolet had ever mass-produced a step van model with this name, but I did however find a photo of a GMC truck brochure from about this same era promoting “Three New Wide Universal CAROVANS” - “Bodies mounted on GMC package delivery chassis” offered in three different wheelbases, but the photo on the brochure shows just a standard step-van grille with “GMC” lettering.
So perhaps the truck in this photo was a one-of-a kind prototype for Chevrolet with the CAROVAN model name and trim, whose exact details and ultimate fate have since been lost to the passing of time……….But I sure would love to know where that very cool grille ended up ! - May 1953.
